A couple months ago, we heard that Neca had created a figure of Tom Atkins’ character Dr. Challis from Halloween III: Season of the Witch (watch it Here) that would only be available for purchased by fans attending the Halloween: 45 Years of Terror convention. That convention has since come and gone – and now Neca has put the Challis figure up for sale on their website! The figure comes with a Silver Shamrock coaster signed by Atkins himself and can be purchased at This Link. It’s going for the price of $75.
Written and directed by Tommy Lee Wallace, Halloween III: Season of the Witch has the following synopsis: Hospital emergency room Dr. Daniel “Dan” Challis and Ellie Grimbridge, the daughter of a murder victim, uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran, a madman who’s planning a Halloween mass murder utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from Saban Films' Supercell, starring Skeet Ulrich and Daniel Diemer. Arriving in select theaters and on digital platforms on March 17, Supercell is directed by Herbert James Winterstern in his feature film directorial debut. Winterstern also co-wrote the screenplay with Anna Elizabeth James, telling the story of William Brody (played by Diemer), a legendary storm chaser's son who faces off against the very natural force that killed his father.
The storm-chasing business that once belonged to Bill Brody now belongs to reckless tour operator Zane Rogers (Alec Baldwin), who uses it like his own playground. When a particularly nasty supercell hits, William leaves his mother (Anne Heche) behind and follows his father’s old partner Roy Cameron (Ulrich) into the eye of the storm. Supercell also stars Jordan Kristine Seamón, Johnny Wactor, Praya Lundberg, and Richard Gunn.

‘…violent winds, and churning tornadoes make supercells deadly, and when ‘William Brody’ was a boy, his father -- a legendary storm-chaser -- was killed by one. Now, the family business belongs to ‘Zane Rogers’ (Baldwin), an obnoxious tour operator who sees dollar signs where others see storm clouds.
‘’When his destiny arrives in the form of one of the most powerful storms on record, William leaves his mom (Heche) and home behind to team up with his father's ex-partner, ‘Roy Cameron’ (Ulrich), barely surviving a tornado yet determined to chase one of nature's most terrifying creations: the bear's cage…’

The 1980s were a hot bed for films that may have disappointed at the box office initially, but would go on to become cult classics that are still revered to this day. One of the best examples of this is Fred Dekker’s beloved horror movie Night of the Creeps.
That project was a mash-up of genres, from slasher flicks to sci-fi adventures. And while it may have been a little light on box office receipts when first released in 1986, an exceptional script helped it rise above and stand out and it’s since stood the test of time.
For years now, there’s been speculation about a potential follow-up, but nothing’s ever been confirmed. That’s all changed, however, as Tom Atkins, who was part of the ensemble cast of the original production, recently commented on the future sequel during an interview with JoBlo, stating:

Fred Dekker, the writer and director of the 1986 horror film Night of the Creeps, is planning a sequel that will bring back the original cast! That cast of the original film includes Jason Lively, Steve Marshall, Jill Whitlow, Allan Kayser, and Tom Atkins.
The news about Night of the Creeps 2 came from Tom Atkins during an interview with JoBlo. He said:
“I would like to see Detective Ray Cameron become resurrected somehow. And Fred Dekker and I, every time we see each other, we talk about that. And he's determined to do a sequel with the three kids and myself. I mean they're no longer kids, they're all in their 50's, but they're all still kicking and healthy and looking good. I would love to do that again. I love Detective Ray Cameron.”
It would be pretty cool if this film project actually ended up happening. I love the idea...

“Well, girls, I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is your dates are here.”
“What’s the bad news?”
“They’re dead.”
Now that’s dialogue that will echo throughout eternity. Thirty years ago today a film was unleashed on a populace that merely shrugged at its existence. Too weird to thrive at the time, Night Of The Creeps has gone on to become something of a cult classic with its weird blending of ’50s creature feature, ’60s zombie film, and ’80s culture. Written and directed by Fred Dekker (of The Monster Squad fame), the film stars Tom Atkins as grizzled detective Ray Cameron, Jason Lively as scrappy college dork Chris Romero, and Jill Whitlow as imperiled coed turned shotgun-wielding Cynthia Cronenberg. Night Of The Creeps has grown its following since the video and syndication days, inspiring many other filmmakers and artists.

It’s very exciting to see ambition in the world of horror. Yes, pleasure can and always will be derived from one more well formed slice of the blade or swing of the axe. However, occasionally a filmmaker comes on the scene overflowing with imagination and verve, a need to spew forth fresh ideas, or at the very least, a new take on a haggard trope. And then you have Fred Dekker, who decided for his first feature to include everything he loved about exploitation, horror and sci-fi, into one glorious, hearty stew that bafflingly flew under the radar at the time of its release. And like a good stew, the more it simmers, the sweeter the taste. 30 years later, Night of the Creeps (1986) will fill you up and have you begging for more.

Nicol Williamson as Merlin in Excalibur (John Boorman, 1981, UK):
Turning in by far the best acting in Boorman’s epic, Williamson sets the bar for all other interpretations of the Merlin character. Best known as an acclaimed stage actor with a history of incredibly unprofessional behavior, this is Williamson’s most memorable film role and will have you chanting the “charm of making” in no time.
Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty in Blade Runner (Ridley Scott, 1982, USA):
As an android seeking to prolong his short life, Hauer’s unique screen presence is perfectly utilized in director Scott’s atmospheric science fiction milestone. Hauer brings a sort of “alien” quality to the character Roy Batty and really makes this role a truly superior piece of casting.
Other notable Rutger Hauer performances: Nighthawks (Bruce Malmuth, 1981, USA), The Hitcher (Robert Harmon, 1986, USA).

Michael McIntyre has admitted that tragedy in his early life, probably resulted in him choosing comedy as his future career.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge lost his dad, Ray Cameron, when he was a teenager, after the 53 year old died of a sudden heart attack.
Speaking on BBC Radio’s Desert Island Discs the 35 year old confessed:
“I genuinely think my comedy and the person I am is because of who I am and how I came about – and that does include, unfortunately, my dad not being around.
“It did push me further into an insular place, into my own world.
“I have managed to meet his friends and it’s great to hear from them and to hear them saying that he would have been proud of me.”

Michael McIntyre has opened up about the sudden death of his father as a teenager. The Britain's Got Talent judge recalled to The Sun the heartbreaking moment in 1993 when he learned that dad Ray Cameron, a writer on The Kenny Everett Television Show, had died of a heart attack in Spain. He told the Sunday Mirror: "He died on Boxing Day. I was 17 and I remember that I had just learned to drive and he was really upset that he couldn't afford to buy me my first car. "He bought me a book about cars instead, which made me feel quite tearful. I went to bed that night feeling pretty good about it and then, the next day, we got a call to say he'd died of a heart (more)...

Back in August 1986, two horror movies debuted on the same Friday in New York-area theaters. The film that got more publicity, and that most of the genre fans I knew wanted to see, was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. But one pal and I were more interested in checking out the one that promised a “Free Creep Prevention Mask” to the first patrons on opening night.

Fred Dekker directed only two movies during the '80s, The Monster Squad and Night of the Creeps. While neither did particularly well at the box office, these two films were the unlikely beneficiaries of the video revolution, being passed around among horror junkies and subsequently attaining cult status. But despite the boost they received from the rise of VHS, DVD wasn't as forgiving. The Monster Squad regularly topped many film fans' lists of neglected films until its release two years ago. Now the prophecy will finally be fulfilled and Night of the Creeps will finally get its due with a special edition to be released near Halloween. Night of the Creeps is a throwback to '50s sci-fi creature features, with parasitic alien slugs landing on Earth and taking over the puny minds of the students at a local college. I rewatched Night of the Creeps not long ago,...
