In the music video for her piano-driven interlude "Bambi," Bodine poses in the middle of a dense forest, artistically garbed in assorted animal bones as she croons over the black and white footage with an ear-catching voice that straddles mezzo and alto ranges. The visual doubled as an announcement video for her sophomore EP, "Quemo Lento," which dropped last month. Still, if anyone got the impression the project would hinge on somber instrumentals, her other tracks quickly proved them wrong. The follow-up singles "No Me Quiere Más Na'" and "Nalgaje" present a saucier and more liberated version of Bodine. But who is the real Bodine? Is it the contemplative, artsy soul hinted at in the first track, or the one who takes pride in homaging vedette Iris Chacón and singing catchy odes to booties? “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 8 continued on June 2 with the fifth episode streaming on Paramount+. For the first time ever, RuPaul Charles announced a “second way to win” in addition to earning the coveted crown and $200,000 prize given to the traditional winner. One of the eliminated queens will also be named Queen of the Fame Games and earn a $50,000 cash prize.

In 2023, only 34 percent of creative roles in animation are held by women, according to the nonprofit organization Women In Animation. Within that 34 percent is Indigenous Boricua filmmaker Alba Enid García-Rivas.

Thanks to her father, a well-known director of photography on the island of Puerto Rico, García-Rivas became immersed in the world of film at a very young age. "My father was one of the cameraman pioneers. He was the director of photography for many telenovelas and stuff like that. Iris Chacón and La Lupe and all these greatest artists from Puerto Rico knew him because he was the go-to cameraman and the director of photography," she tells Popsugar. "Since I was 2 years old, I was involved with him. He brought me to the TV station. He taught me, 'This is how you do special effects. This is how you do a green screen.
