Nearly four years have gone by since we heard that Orwo Studios and Black Hanger Studios, the folks behind Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, were going to be making a reboot of the classic Christmas slasher movie Silent Night, Deadly Night (watch it Here)… and while those plans didn’t work out and Orwo Studios and Black Hanger Studios are no longer involved, a Silent Night, Deadly Night remake is still moving forward. Back in November, we learned that the film will be coming our way from Cineverse, the company behind the Terrifier franchise, with writer/director Mike P. Nelson at the helm. Now, Deadline has broken the news that Sixth Dimension, the new in-house genre label at Studiocanal, has picked up the global rights (excluding North America) to the project as first acquisition. The new Silent Night, Deadly Night will be heading into production this spring, aiming to reach theatres by the end of this year.

5 Best Christmas Horror Movies(Photo Credit –IMDb)
When one thinks of Christmas, horror, and gore are generally not the first things that come to mind. Christmas is all about having fun. It’s full of life and color, and identifying it as scary would be out of place. And while Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” does make a perfect example of a ‘scary Christmas,’ it does not qualify as a traditional, spine-chilling horror movie. But contrary to popular narrative — certain media out there does it, and does it well. Think of the latest “Fargo” episode that runs a Halloween theme and blends it with “Nightmare Before Christmas.”
So, the appeal behind it is understandable. This is why we have curated a list of the best Christmas horror movies you can enjoy for a change of pace from all the happy and sparkly traditions.

The episode of The Test of Time covering Silent Night, Deadly Night was Written by Andrew Hatfield, Narrated by Niki Minter, Edited by Mike Conway, Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Wading through the many aspects of a movie to decide if it stands the Test of Time is one of the fun parts of this journey. Often times, we’ve looked at classics that are genuinely seen as good in most aspects and decide if it was good just for its era or if it was able to transcend its place in time and still be a good time today. Last year we looked at Christmas Evil, a movie that still is underseen, but is a true holiday classic. The 1984 classic Silent Night, Deadly Night (watch it Here) and the 1974 classic Black Christmas (watch that one Here) are two horror films that many genre fans make sure to watch every holiday season – so the folks at Gutter Garbs have very wisely put imagery promoting both films together for their “Holidays of Horror Double Feature” collection. From lobsters to poker to beef in the trifle, we count down the top 25 episodes of Friends…
There was a time, thanks to the enthusiasm and regularity of its syndicated broadcasts, when it felt as though Friends was more air than a sitcom. It was ambient. Omnipresent. It would always be there as part of the TV scenery. And then all of a sudden, it went away. We learned a valuable lesson that day: don't take sitcom for granted. Treasure it and keep it close to your heart.
Now, it's back. Well, it is for Netflix subscribers at least (until it's not again and Peacock takes over)
In the interests of cherishing the show that coined a hundred phrases and made Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Monica and Phoebe fixtures in our lives, here are 25 of its top episodes...

A confession: I’m not wild about Christmas. As somebody who gets unnecessarily neurotic about whether or not everybody else is having a good time, the onset of shopping crowds, traveling woes, gift-buying difficulties, and food-related malaise often overwhelms my delicate constitution. (Also, the constant claptrap about the War on Christmas doesn’t make the season any more fun.)
But there are a handful of Christmas traditions I have adopted over the years that have made the last six weeks of the year something close to bearable. The cornerstone of those rituals is the annual viewing of Silent Night, Deadly Night,...

Now that Halloween is over, it’s time to start watching those Christmas-themed horror movies. One of the more popular ones is Silent Night, Deadly night and it’s coming to theaters across the country this December. The screenings are courtesy of Brainstorm Media and Fangoria, who made the announcement:
“Fangoria is thrilled to announce the re-release of the controversial, ultra-bloody anti-Holiday slasher favorite Silent Night, Deadly Night, opening wide across the country in theaters everywhere!
Released in 1984 to outrage and parental paranoia, director Charles Sellier’s killer Kris Kringle creeper tells the tale of a tot who, on Christmas Eve 1974, sees mommy kissing Santa’s axe as a lunatic invades their home and murders his family. Growing up in an abusive Catholic orphanage, the poor put-upon lad grows up to be a similar psycho in a Santa suit and goes on a bloody rampage. The film will be fully uncut and re-mastered,...

Billy Chapman and his brother want to share the true meaning of Christmas and teach you how to embody the holiday spirit. Let 1980x tell you just how they plan to do that. We’ll run...
