A new episode of our Best Horror Party Movies video series has just been released, and with this one we’re looking back at director James Wan’s 2007 revenge thriller Death Sentence (watch it Here). Directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Ian Mackenzie Jeffers that was based on a novel by Death Wish author Brian Garfield, Death Sentence has the following synopsis: Nick Hume is on his way home from a hockey game with his son, Brendan, and stops for gasoline. Helplessly he sees a street thug kill Brendan while robbing the station. Believing the justice system will fail him, Nick goes after the killer himself, setting off a war between him and the killer’s older brother.

Earlier this week, during our Indie Horror Month interview with Midnight Son star Zak Kilberg, we learned about Alyce, the upcoming ultra-gritty psychological thriller from the delightfully demented mind of writer/director Jay Lee (Zombie Strippers, The Slaughter).

Alyce stars Tamara Feldman (Hatchet, Gossip Girl), James Duval (Donnie Darko, Doom Generation), Eddie Rouse (Pandorum, Undertow), Larry Cedar (The Crazies), Yorgo Constantine (Fast Five), Megan Gallagher (“Millenium”) Rena Owen (Once Were Warriors), Tracey Walter (Repo Man, Batman), Bret Roberts (May, Nightstalker) and Jade Dornfeld is making her film debut as the titular character Alyce.

Four new photos from the set of Fast and Furious 5: Fast Five have just hit the Internet.

Fast Five will follow Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) as “fugitives being pursued by legendary lawmen.”

The film is currently shooting in Puerto Rico (July and August). Streets, neighborhoods and local offices will serve to represent Brazil, a country where most of the plot takes place.

Justin Lin returns to direct. Also stars Dwayne Johnson as Detective Johnson, Charisma Carpenter as Jasmine Brooks, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pierce, Elsa Pataky as Elena Neves, Sung Kang as Han, Matt Schulze as Vince, Ludacris as Tej, Joaquim de Almeida, Tj Hassan, Yorgo Constantine, Tego Calderon and Michelle Rodriguez (rumored).

Universal Pictures "The Fast and the Furious 5" has added Joaquim de Almeida and Elsa Pataky as the male and female lead. Matt Schulze, who was in the first film in the franchise, is also part of the cast. Cast now includes Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Charisma Carpenter, Tj Hassan, La'Tino, Yorgo Constantine, Alexandra Valentino and Tego Calderon. Justin Lin directs and filming is currently underway in Puerto Rico, moving later to Atlanta, Ga. Distributor will rel and will later move to Atlanta. Universal will release the pic on June 10, 2011.
