A native of Massachusetts, Tom credits his boisterous Boston Irish upbringing for his ability to think on his feet and morph into characters at the drop of a hat. Ask him where his Boston accent is and he may joke he skipped school that day then drop his "ahs" faster than that apple dropped for Isaac Newton. An art school dropout with a burning yearning to see what acting was all about Tom started his career as a stand-in for Brendan Fraser, doing extra work and taking bit parts before joining an Off-Broadway theater company in New York City. In his first ever theatrical production Tom was asked to take over the lead when an actor dropped out with a medical emergency just one week before opening night. The play was the Boys in the Band and the role was Michael, heavy stuff for any actor but especially challenging someone with zero stage experience. Acting in front of a live audience cemented it, he really was good at this. His director and acting mentor Wally Strauss told him so: "You're great kid, just never stop learning." A move to Hollywood and guest stars on television followed. Next came leading man roles in a slew of independent films which led to producing and starring in his own features. All the while hustling on sets as art department to make ends meet and constantly honing his craft. Whether it be acting on camera or working behind the scenes Tom knows you must truly believe in the story you are telling or your audience will not truly believe in you.
In an ever evolving entertainment industry Tom believes his greatest story has yet to be told. Stay tuned...
