Pearl Driggs(1889-1970)

Pearl Driggs made her movie debut in
Blood on His Lips (1958),
as did other members of her family. Her son-in-law was the film's star,
Robert Clarke. Pearl was the
matriarch of the famed singing King Family, mother of the singing King
Sisters. She occasionally appeared with her family, the King Family, on
their TV shows/specials. During her final years she suffered from
severe arthritis and was confined to a wheelchair. She passed away at a
nursing home in Los Angeles. Among her famed kin is granddaughter
Tina Cole, who played Katie on
My Three Sons (1960).
