Stephen Dorff, Radha Mitchell (“Blueback”) and Italy’s Cristiana Capotondi (“The Ignorant Angels”) are set to star in indie rom-com “No Place Like Rome” from U.S.-based Italian director Cecilia Miniucchi (“Life Upside Down”).
Shooting has just started in Rome on the U.S.-Italy co-production, which revolves around an emotionally fraught American photographer named Connor (Dorff), who travels to the Eternal City from New York during the Christmas holidays for a combination of work and vacation.

Singapore’s 108 Media has acquired international rights to Angelo Frezza’s Italian romantic drama The Fifth Taste which is due to start shooting in Italy next month.
The deal excludes Italy and China, where Italian producer G&e Film Production holds theatrical and distribution rights respectively.
The film is about the owner of an artisanal food outlet who recognises her niece has an eating disorder. But it’s her estranged lovermwho seems to be the only person who can help the young woman through her personal struggle.
