Canadian puppeteer, Tim Gosley is originally from Victoria, British Columbia. He earned a degree in acting from Edmonton's University of Alberta and studied puppetry with Richard Hunt from 1981 to 1983. Golsey began his career performing as minor characters in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's series Fraggle Songs (1983) as well as the Warner Brothers-Sesame Street theatrical film Follow That Bird (1985). After shooting that cinematic production in Toronto, he started being a puppeteer for Basil the polar bear on Sesame Park (1972) for nine seasons.
