- Former friend of Tony Blair, the British Prime Minister from 1997 to 2007. However, the two men had a serious falling-out over the Iraq War, leading Harris to write his best-selling novel, "The Ghost", in which a corrupt former Prime Minister bears a distinct resemblance to Blair.
