    • Linda Hayes was born on October 11, 1918 in Sac City, Iowa, USA. She was an actress, known for The Girl from Mexico (1939), I'm Still Alive (1940) and Mexican Spitfire (1939). She was married to Frank Ward Walker, Lou Crosby and Dominic Joseph Germano. She died on December 19, 1995 in Palm Desert, California, USA.

  • She was still known as "Rachelle Germano" (from her brief first marriage) when she entered a "Gateway to Hollywood" star search in 1939 sponsored by Jesse L. Lasky of RKO Studios. While she won the regional competition, she lost in the finals, but was given an RKO contract, anyway. The studio also gave her a new name.
  • As a teenager, got her dramatic training at the Pasadena Playhouse and worked in stock theater.
