Echoes of Fear tells the story of Alysa, who inherits her grandfather’s house following his sudden death from an apparent heart attack. She cannot keep the house so travels there to prepare it for sale. While she is packing away her grandfather’s belongings some strange and unexplained events inside the house start to spook her and she soon comes to the conclusion that she is not alone. Something supernatural lurks in the house and she begins to believe that her grandfather was trying to find something before he died. When her friend Steph arrives they attempt to solve the mystery and what they uncover forces them to confront the diabolical truth about what this “home” is hiding.
Let’s be honest, haunted house movies are ten-a-penny.

Former pop star turned actor Luke Goss has had an interesting post-pop career, carving his own path in Hollywood, appearing in a number of action movies since his star-making turn in Blade 2. He has put in some great performances in a bevy of direct-to-market action movies, in particular the Death Race Dtv sequels – two of my personal favourites of his. What makes Goss such a good action star is, honestly, his smouldering good looks and a quiet demeanour. Thanks to which, he can pull off a smooth spy role and a quiet hard man of action hero proportions. In Legacy he does both, playing MI6 agent Gray – who in the opening calmly and smoothly (with...

While he's recognized for a variety of roles, Marshal Hilton is becoming somewhat of a popular staple in today's horror movies. And with the upcoming release of the well-received Echoes of Fear, the star of such films as Primal Rage, The Bunnyman Massacre and I Am Alone, will no doubt find more genre pieces come his way.
Echoes of Fear, which kicked off its North American theatrical run last week in L.A, is a creepfest about a young woman who must confront the mystery surrounding her grandfather's death after she inherits his house. It is written and co-directed by genre regular Brian Avenet-Bradley.

"What would you do if your child was from another galaxy?" File this under "Don't Watch", which means you'll probably watch it any just to see how bad it is. An official trailer has debuted for an indie sci-fi feature titled Astro, and it looks terrible in every single way. The story is about some billionaire's space exploration program bringing back an alien from another planet, or something like that. The film's cast includes Gary Daniels, Marshal Hilton, Courtney Akbar, Max Wasa, Louis Mandylor, and Michael Paré. This trailer is a mess, the CGI is horrible, I don't even know what's going on. This site also describes it nicely: "A Bland Uninspired Sci-Fi Mess." Brian Steele Medina of Gemini Syndrome, composed the music and sound FX for the trailer, which also features the unreleased track "We Are the Fallen" written by the alternative metal band. The original score is composed by Erick Schroeder.

The legend of Bigfoot is reborn in Patrick Magee's new movie Primal Rage, and to celebrate the movie coming to theaters for one night only on February 27th, we've been provided with a Q&A with one of the film's actors, Marshal Hilton. In today's Horror Highlights we also have details on how you can enter to become Screambox's first horror host, as well as info on the new comic book Lady Frankenstein and The Mummy's Brain.
Q&A with Primal Rage Actor Marshal Hilton: "Marshal Hilton (Bunnyman Vengeance) is back on the big screen this month in Patrick Magee’s frightening Bigfoot thriller Primal Rage.
Looking at your filmography, it’d seem you gravitate towards horror and sci-fi. Fair to say?
Marshal Hilton: I wish I could say something eloquent and thought-provoking, but the reality is sometimes they just fall in your lap, and sometimes you get what you can get.

Dad, please don’t let them eat me.
So, this guy kills his wife and his daughter, but when his son is surrounded by other zombies, John Romero (Michael Villar), the undead guy, grows a conscience. Soon after, Asteroth (Marshal Hilton), a guide for the undead, explains that he has a conscience, brings him to the underworld where John looks for answers. They aren’t there, they’re somewhere else, so he has to go there. Oh, and he needs to eat some delicious brains. Meanwhile, Taylor (Emrys Wright), the boy, has been placed in a weird boarding school for no apparent reason—oh, but there are reasons—where he’s terrorized by a few bullies and faculty. And then there’s the mad scientist (C.J. Baker).
