She has sponsored two children in the Philippines for five years, and now sponsors a baby boy, Ruben, from Chile.

She was turned on to running by her father in seventh grade. Katie was one of the fastest runners in her town and became champion in her home state of Michigan. She took first place in her region and 6th fastest in the Nation.

One of the finest drama schools in the world The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) invited Chonacas to come study Shakespeare in 2016.

She won Miss Michigan Teen Motor City to represent her documentation of leadership ability Katie raised $4500, donated it to kids with Leukemia, went to Alaska, and ran one of the hardest marathons up Mt. McKinley.

Katie shot a major NYC campaign for New York City Department of Transportation. Expect next two years Katie will appear on NYC city buses, billboards and subways. Katie is truly honored to be apart of such a huge campaign with the city of NYC and for Mayor Michael Bloomberg. (March 2012)
