Melina Kotselou

Melina Kotselou was born in Greece. She studied Modern Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Dramatic and Performing Arts at the National Theatre of Northern Greece.
In 2025, the feature film Patty Is Such a Girly Name, directed by George Georgopoulos, in which she stars, is expected to be released. Her work in film includes starring roles in Magma (2023), directed by Lia Tsalta, and Orange Juice (2023), directed by Dimitris Zahos. The same year, she had a leading role in the feature film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, directed by Nia Vardalos. She also attended the Oxbelly Acting on Camera workshop at Costa Navarino by Faliro House Productions.
Her presence in theatre has been unceasing, with numerous notable collaborations over the years. She worked with Sofia Vgenopoulou in Border Lines and Biederman and the Fire Raisers and with Eleni Efthimiou in Crossroads. In 2021, she was a lead member of the ensemble at the National Theatre of Greece in Class Enemy, directed by Georgia Mavragani. In 2022, she collaborated again with Mavragani in an adaptation of the ancient play Frogs at the Municipal Theatre of Kavala during the 65th Philippe Theatre Festival. In 2023, she starred in Call Me Sugar, directed by Michalis Pitidis and Christina Kipreou, produced by the Onassis Foundation during Future Now Festival 2023, and was also part of an independent ensemble directed by Niki Doulgeraki. In 2024, she performed on the Main Stage of the National Theatre of Greece in Dreamplay, directed by Georgia Mavragani.
