David Krumholtz has finally joined a comic book movie. The actor, who is set to play Supergirl's father in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, recently shared how much it means to him to join James Gunn's DC Universe.

Following his casting, Krumholtz released a statement on Instagram expressing "gratitude" for being able to live out a childhood dream. "I was that kid. Overflowing drawers full of comics… escaping into worlds unknown… imagining myself having powers that would benefit the greater good," the actor wrote.
