Jensen Ackles was not sold on the finale of Supernatural when he first read it. It must be noted that Supernatural came to an end after 15 seasons, with Jared Padalecki and Ackles playing their respective characters for well over a decade. Dean Winchester famously died in the episode, apparently for good, given that Sam Winchester had a full life after him.

Ackles describes feeling ‘uneasy’ after the first time he was exposed to the nature of the finale, which makes sense, given how long the actor had played the character. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he revealed what he exactly felt about the finale, and how he eventually came around to saying goodbye to the show.

However, Morgan's casting left Jared Padalecki as the only one of the show's original leads who hadn't appeared in The Boys.

It's since been confirmed that the show's final season will feature a full-blown Supernatural reunion with Ackles, Padalecki, and Misha Collins all set to appear.

Although we can make some assumptions about the epic finale of the show, The Boys always finds a way to surprise audiences. Just don't ask the cast what they may be, as they're being kept in the dark about how it will all end. Ashley is one of the most interesting characters in the show. She's the paranoid and unpredictable Vought employee who takes care of everything to make the Supes look good in the public eye.

Omni-Man and Homelander might have taken over the cultural zeitgeist when it comes to Superman archetypes gone bad, but comics, in general, have a very rich history of breaking down the Man of Steel into his base parts as a character and then using those parts to assemble critiques and statements about not only the industry but also the nature of power and what the character represents.

Henry Cavill’s version of Superman was perhaps a tad darker than what fans have seen in earlier versions of the character, but it must be noted that it was nowhere close to some of the takes that people have had on their Superman archetype, some of which now Cavill is aware of. Elvis Mitchell of Interview Magazine had an interesting question to pose to Cavill when it came to describing the powers of Superman.

Prime Video's subversive acton-drama The Boys is one of the most popular genre shows out there, which is especially high praise given it's a superhero show operating outside the Marvel-dc super-complex. After four hugely successful seasons, showrunner Eric Kripke has decided to end the show with the upcoming season. What can we expect? Well, besides from pushing the bounderies of how much vulgarity can be put to screen, star Jack Quaid teases a "bittersweet" ending.

The saga has very much been told through the eyes of Quaid's character Hughie. In season 1, he represented a voice of reason among all the chaos, but after teaming up with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the Boys, he's become a pivotal figure in the ongoing fight to take down the oppressive, unhinged superhero Homelander (Anthony Starr).

Superman actor David Corenswet will make his debut as the Man of Steel in just a few months. Ahead of the film's release, the actor revealed his real kryptonite.

"Oh, without a doubt, a good argument," Corenswet told Esquire (via Screen Rant). "And don't let anyone try to keep me from a very convincing one. If someone has a strong opinion about something, I can't resist starting a conversation about it. I like debate, but I know that sometimes it's better to walk away before the situation gets too heated."

The final season of The Boys is shaping up to be a full-fledged Supernatural reunion. Showrunner Eric Kripke, the mastermind behind both series, has officially confirmed that Jared Padalecki will be joining the cast for season 5.

However, the surprises don’t stop there—Misha Collins is also set to make an appearance, completing the trio alongside Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy. The same was confirmed in an Instagram video on the official handle, which features all three of the Supernatural actors.

Fans have been clamoring for a Supernatural crossover ever since Ackles debuted as Soldier Boy in The Boys Season 3. Now, their wishes are finally coming true. Amazon Prime Video confirmed that Padalecki and Collins will have guest roles in the upcoming season, and what’s more—they will share screen time with Ackles.

With The Boys season 5 being the last, there are naturally a few fan wishes. One of the things we wanted to see was a certain Supernatural reunion.

That wish is coming true! There’s the Supernatural team-up that is sure to bring new fans to the series and an interest in a Supernatural reboot or revival once more.

The Boys is no stranger to Supernatural reunions. There have also been a few Timeless reunions. That’s what you get when Eric Kripke created all three shows, and he loves working with actors he likes from other productions. It just took time to make schedules work for this particular reunion. He did say that a certain actor coming into the show was "the Pokémon I haven’t collected yet."

Shortly after the fourth season of The Boys wrapped up, showrunner Eric Kripke indicated that Jensen Ackles' (Soldier Boy) former Supernatural co-star Jared Padalecki might be set to join him in the upcoming fifth and final season.

Now, a new video posted to the show's X account confirms that Padalecki has indeed joined the season 5 cast... along with Misha Collins!

Supernatural starred Ackles and Padalecki as demon-hunting brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, while Collins played their angelic ally Castiel.

The Boys has also featured fellow Supernatural actors Jim Beaver (Robert Singer), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Joe Kessler) and Rob Benedict (Splinter).

We have no idea which characters Padalecki and Collins will be playing on The Boys, but we'll be sure to update if and when the trades weigh in.

Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins are reuniting with their erstwhile co-star, Jensen Ackles — as well as series creator and The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke — on the Prime Video series. Padalecki and Collins will each have guest roles in season five, details of which are being kept quiet for now. The Amazon-owned streamer did note, however, that the trio will share scenes.

There’s no word on whether a 1967 Chevrolet Impala will also be involved.

Via Instagram, Quaid, who plays titular group member Hughie Campbell, shared a set image from The Boys Season 5 in which blood is draped all over him with a smile on his face. He insists that "work's been going great" to fans as they expressed how much they can't wait to see the final product and aren't ready for the hit show to end.

It wouldn't be a season of Prime Video's The Boys without Jack Quaid being covered in fake blood. Over the past four seasons of the hit superhero series, Quaid's Hughie Campbell has been showered in guts and gore, launched into Billy Butcher's (Karl Urban) revenge mission against the world's "superheroes." Filming is currently underway on the show's fifth and final season, and the actor has teased fans by revealing that Season 5 will continue that long-running, and incredibly messy trend.

Quaid took to Instagram to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at The Boys' final season. "Work's Been Going Great, You Guys!" Quaid wrote along with a thumbs-up emoji, sharing a picture of himself splattered in fake blood all across his face. Surprisingly, the image Quaid shared is tame compared to some of the stuff Hughie has gone through in the show. The Boys Season 4 in particular was a tough one...

If there's one thing you can count on in every season of The Boys, it's Hughie Campbell winding up covered in blood.

Cameras have been rolling on the fifth and final season of the Prime Video series since last November, and star Jack Quaid has now shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from the set.

Though the image doesn't provide any context, it seems pretty clear that Hughie will be taking yet another bloodbath when the show returns next year.

In the season 4 finale, Hughie and most of his teammates were captured by Homelander's forces (these slightly spoiler-y set photos reveal where they were most likely sent), leaving only Annie January - now powered back up as Starlight - and Billy Butcher on the lam. With the latter on a crusade to wipe out all Supes, it's probably going to be up to Annie to rescue Hughie and the others.

Companion, a film about a robot named Iris (Sophie Thatcher) whose boyfriend/owner Josh (Jack Quaid) tries to deactivate her after a weekend gone wrong, has been hailed as one of the year's best movies so far. The film has a great score on Rotten Tomatoes, described as an an excellent film with fantastic depth.

In little under three weeks since it released, the film has made nearly triple its budget at the box office - with that sort of success, it’s no wonder director/writer Drew Hancock’s is already soft-planning sequels. For those who haven’t had the chance to see Companion in the theater, the film now has a release date on Digital as well as its physical media release. Per Screen Rant, it will make its Digital debut on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The 4K Uhd, Blu-ray, and DVD release will follow on April 1.
