Neva Leoncini

Neva was born in Rome and raised in Florence to an art historian and a space engineer. She is an actress, Opera singer and a linguist. She speaks fluent Italian, English, French, Spanish and Russian. She lived abroad Europe in Italy, France, Spain, the UK and Russia and now she is based between Los Angeles and Rome. She comes from musical theatre and she can play the piano.
She started singing and performing in musical theatre in Florence at an early age in theatres like Teatro Pergola, Teatro Verdi and Teatro Puccini. She started her operatic and stage performance training at the Florence Opera Academy under the guidance of the sopranos Susanna Rigacci (Ennio Morricone's main interpret for his soundtrack of Sergio Leone's movies) and Silvia Bossa. She performed in many operatic productions around Italy.
She joins the Florentine theatre company Magno Prog with whom she has been touring the theatres of Florence, Rome, Milan, Turin, Naples and Sardinia with musicals as 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show', 'Hair', 'Corpse Bride'. She studies with Maurizio Lombardi (The Young Pope, All the money in the World & Mr. Ripley) and perfors with him in his pieces as 'Peter Pan' and 'White snow' with main roles in the productions.
She graduates in Foreign Language and Literatures at the University of Florence in 2019 with Honours, with a triple degree in English, French and Russian. Her studies of linguistics brought her living abroad all over Europe: London, Paris and Saint Petersburg.
Neva moved to Los Angeles in 2023 where she studied at USC Opera Singing and Stage Performance with Elizabeth Hynes. Then took an MA at UCLA at the TFT Acting for the Camera Program. She is part of the theatre company of the Victory Theatre directed by Maria Gobetti.
Neva transitioned from theatre to the camera in 2023 and was cast in leading roles in short films and pilots as 'Double Down - 2. Parità' (2023) directed by Vincent Peter Mocco, 'Cindy, Always' (2023) directed by Noelle White, 'Served with a Smile' (2023) directed by James Setara, 'A week' (2023) by Tony Rakshit, 'Paranoid' (2023) by Junda Wu and 'Love Last Stand' (2024) by Sam Stewart.
In between jobs, she also work as a translator for scripts and a language and accent tutor for companies and productions all over Europe.
