Zoe is a screenwriter and director from Houston, Texas. She recently graduated from the Rita and Burton Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she concentrated in screenwriting and minored in producing for film. In 2023, she was one of twenty-four selected to join the department's graduate cohort (c.o. '25). In 2020, she received an Honorable Mention from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for her original screenplay "Havana". In 2021, Zoe was the recipient of the Venable Herndon Award for Excellence in Screenwriting. In 2022, she was one of six selected to participate in the Athena Film Festival Screenwriter's Lab. Zoe's work has been featured in the 2021 Tisch Undergraduate Screenplay Showcase, the 2022 Sloan Film Summit, and Women & Hollywood. Her latest short film, THE FOURTH FRIEND, had its world premiere at the 2023 edition of FEST - New Directors New Films festival located in Espinho, Portugal, where it competed for the Silver Lynx Prize in Fiction. It is now available to watch on Film Shortage. Her next short film, AT NIGHT, is in post-production. Zoe is based in New York City.
