Dina Mondello is an Award-Winning Classical Pianist and Composer as well as a Writer/Director based out of Long Island, NY. Having begun performative studies at a very young age, by the time she was 8 years old, Ms. Mondello was named "New York's Top Pianist". She performed at Carnegie Hall at age 12.
Searching for her passions outside of the performing arts, at age 21, she founded The Agnus Dei Society - a collaborative of conservatory musicians who performed and taught underprivileged NYC children.
In California, she spent the rest of her 20's teaching and accompanying for prestigious Opera and Dance houses across the West Coast and in underground recording studios.
She has studies Victoria Mushkatkol, Roger Woodward, Sharon Mann, Dale Stuckenbruck and the late Kenneth Gartner, her childhood mentor.
She has Master Classed with Emanuel Ax and Michael Tilson Thomas.
Ms. Mondello opened Music Haus - a boutique music school, in 2022. She is also Founder/Artistic Director of The Rabbit Hole Theatre Group (once a Blackbox Theatre, now a roaming Theatre Collaborative sharing original and lesser known Immersive Theatre) and its sister company Storybrook Productions - A Film Group. She has Music Directed over 35 shows across NY and is Secretary of the North Fork Community Theatre.
She lives on Eastern Long Island with her husband, her daughter, Willow and their 2 cats.
Her body of work includes, 2 Operatic Libretti, 6 Immersive Plays, the recently recorded Redrum Workshop, 3 Original Scores for Staged Plays, 2 Original Film Scores, 1 Biography Book based on the life of J.S. Bach, a handful of Classical Compositions, 4 Short Films, 2 Feature Screenplays and 1 Limited Series, a Feature Film and a Staged Workshop of "-7" scored for Director, Daryen Ru.
