Luis Ceceña was born in Mexicali, Baja California and is currently living in Mexico City. He is a Mexican actor, director and writer for film and theater. And a pisces. Luis began acting as a member of musical theatre plays in Mexicali, where he made his stage debut in a production of "Mary Poppins". He appeared in many more productions through his early 20s.
He had his film debut in the LGBT+ short film "Rutina (Routine)" directed by Adrián Vivar Cital. He has also directed his first musical short film "Dalila (Delilah)" and the LGBT+ theater play "En el patio de atrás (In the backyard)" where he also had a supporting role.
At 24, he convinced his family to support him in his project of moving to Mexico City to pursue a career in acting where he has been auditioning for film and theater projects since 2024.
