Tod James, 61 years old, became a Los Angeles fireman at age 20. At 21, he became a Paramedic and was promoted to Engineer at 26. His career enabled him to drive and operate a hook and ladder truck and fire engine. At 28, Tod was promoted to Fire Captain leading a crew of firefighters. After 30 years working in the most dangerous parts of Los Angeles, he retired; providing him time to pursue his life-long passion for acting.
Tod also attended professional Bartending School and owns 2 dive bars. A fitness fanatic, Tod works out every morning to maintain his 6'3", 250 lb. frame. On the weekends, he prefers to try new restaurants with friends, attend county music concerts, watch sports and travel whenever possible. Amusingly, Tod gets stopped multiple times a day from people letting him know he looks just like Zeus (from Greek mythology) and many ask for a picture with him. This has become a running joke among his family and friends.
Although new to acting, Tod is passionate about his acting career and totally focused on evolving as an actor. He has been blessed to be working steadily since he started and looks forward to future opportunities.
