While there were dozens of categories for the awards show, only a handful of them were actually given out during the live show, which took place on Monday (March 17) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen lead the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga will receive special honors.

Swift and Wallen are up for 10 awards, followed by Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter and Post Malone, who each have nine nominations. The event will air live on March 17 on Fox from Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and the show will pay tribute to the rebuilding of Los Angeles following the devastating wildfires.

Those competing with Swift, Wallen, Lamar, Carpenter and Malone for Artist of the Year include Sza, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll and Teddy Swims. Carey will receive the Icon Award at the event, where Gaga will earn the Innovator Award and Swift will receive a new award, Tour of the Century, for her groundbreaking Eras tour.

Fatman Scoop, the New York rapper who had a worldwide hit with “Be Faithful” and featured on singles by Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, and Skrillex, has died at the age of 56.

The artist born Isaac Freeman III was transported to a hospital after suffering a medical emergency while onstage during an August 30 concert in Hamden, Connecticut. The trio will oversee the department’s 340 employees across music, comedy and podcast touring, brand partnerships, tour marketing and private events. Banks is promoted after co-leading CAA’s London music office, while Eaton and Roskin have been co-heads of contemporary music for North America, running the day-to-day operations of that key regional touring department.
