PBS’ “American Masters” documentary series will tackle the life of actor, activist and author Marlee Matlin with the feature documentary “Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore.”
The film will use Asl as its primary language. Along with stylized captioning and dynamic editing, it aims to push the boundaries of conventional documentaries and will bring together Deaf and hearing team members across production and post-production roles.

Adam Lewis, founding member and bassist of the pop-punk band Fenix TX, has died at the age of 45.
Lewis’ passing was confirmed on Fenix TX’s official Instagram account. In a post, they revealed that he had died of pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, June 5th. The artist was diagnosed with the disease in 2021.
“We are heartbroken. There are no words that will do justice to the life Adam lived,” the band said. “We will do our best to honor his final wishes and make him proud. We love you Adam Lewis.”
Fenix TX has set up a memorial fund via GoFundMe as a means of raising money for Lewis’ family.
Born May 15th, 1979 in Texas, Lewis grew up in the Houston area, where he would ultimately meet many of his future bandmates. After dropping their 1997 debut album under the name Riverfenix, the band rebranded as Fenix TX and moved to Southern California.
