Given its 15 seasons and 327 episodes, Supernaturalwas bound to falter a few times. This is an unfortunate reality that every long-running TV series faces, regardless of the show's overall quality and enduring popularity. That's not to say that the series' weakest episodes were entirely unsuccessful.
After all, some fans have a soft spot for infamous episodes, like the found footage-style "Bitten" and the borderline offensive "Route 666". However, there is one episode that fans dislike unanimously. The episode in question is "Bloodlines," the 20th episode of Supernatural's ninth season.
Updated by Lauren Younkin on March 18, 2025: Supernatural continues to have a passionate and enduring fanbase long after the show's finale. However, not all of its episodes are equally beloved, and "Bloodlines" is one such episode that is sure to get skipped in a series rewatch. On Thursday morning, Amazon founder and executive chair Jeff Bezos posed a question to his X followers: “Who’d you pick as the next Bond?”
Just one day prior, that inquiry may have felt a bit presumptuous: while Amazon’s $8.5 billion MGM acquisition in 2022 gave it the rights to distribute the Bond films, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson had long been the heads of Eon Productions and the franchise’s custodians. That gave them an unprecedented level of artistic command regarding all things 007.
But in the early morning hours before Bezos’ tweet, Amazon MGM Studios announced a new joint venture with Wilson and Broccoli that would give the studio creative control over James Bond.
“We now live in a world that we’ve never lived in before with this franchise, and that’s the Broccoli family not having the final creative say,” Fandango director of analytics and Box Office...

Great heist TV series like Kaleidoscope and Money Heist bring the exciting subgenre into the spotlight, but there are other excellent robbery shows viewers need to check out. Stories about people taking what's not theirs tend to fascinate audiences. These shows rely on complex, morally ambiguous characters and a meticulously crafted plan that never goes as expected. Part of what makes the best heist shows so good is how they handle the idea of a Plan B, elevating tension to unexpected extremes.
The greatest heist movies don't have nearly as much time as a TV show to explore the characters and the consequences of their action. A good TV show knows how to balance character development and action, analyzing the human being behind the dangerous heist. Various shows about people planning and pulling off impossible robberies have been made over the years, but only a few stick out.

Edward Berger, hot from his double-whammy Best Film and Outstanding British Film wins for Conclave at the Ee BAFTA Film Awards, wanted to stop by the Searchlight after-party at Soho House’s Greek Street to laud Rising Star winner David Jonsson.
“He’s not a show-off,” an impressed Berger tells me after greeting Jonsson.
“[It] tells you a lot. Feet on the ground, incredibly laid back and I wanted to congratulate him,” Berger adds as he watches the Rye Lane and Alien: Romulus actor being feted by a group that included Olivia Homan, his agent at United Talent, and Ellie Norton his publicist at Track Publicity.
Berger notes that he was taken by a comment Jonsson made during his acceptance speech.
“Star? I don’t know, but rising, I guess,” was the Jonsson line that Berger favored.

For This Time Next Year author Sophie Cousens’ first go at adapting one of her books into a film, the most challenging part was capturing the internal dialogue of her “spiky” protagonist” Minnie Cooper (Sophie Cookson).
The story, set over multiple New Year’s Eves and New Year’s Days, follows Minnie as she meets and confronts her nemesis from birth — Quinn Hamilton (Lucien Laviscount), who she believes stole the name she would have had if she were the first baby born on January 1, 1990 and not him.
“There’s so much comedy in the book that comes from Minnie’s internal monologue, and I think that as a writer, that was one of the hardest things to show — what she’s thinking and her humor,” Cousens told Deadline in an interview following the film’s release on Roku. “When I wrote the book, I always imagined it as a film in my head.

Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount took the role of Quinn Hamilton in the adaptation of Sophie Cousens’ novel This Time Next Year after consulting some friends about the book.
The romantic comedy film — now available to stream exclusively in the U.S. on The Roku Channel for free in addition to Roku TVs, devices and TheRokuChannel.com — also stars Sophie Cookson as Minnie Cooper, Golda Rosheuvel as Quinn’s mother Tara, John Hannah as Minnie’s father Keith and Monica Dolan as Minnie’s mother Connie. Author Sophie Cousens adapted her novel, which came out at the end of 2020, into the screenplay for the movie.
“As I remember it, the script came through, and I gave it a read, and I was like, ‘Yo, this is this is really cool,’ and I reached out to my friends of mine, and I was like, ‘Have you read this book?’ And they lost the shit.

“Paris is always a good idea,” said Audrey Hepburn in Billy Wilder’s 1954 flick Sabrina, but let’s be real—Emily in Paris has taken that idea and turned it into a Netflix cocktail that’s part chaos, part glamour, and entirely addictive. From the moment Emily arrives in the City of Lights, she dives headfirst into a pool of glitter, lattes, love triangles, and picture-perfect disasters that are just begging to be shared on Instagram.

According to recent speculation, acclaimed actor Josh O'Connor could be playing the next James Bond. However, O'Connor is suggesting that any rumors about his casting as 007 have been greatly exaggerated.
Per Deadline, O'Connor, also known for Challengers and his Emmy-winning role in The Crown, commented on his Bond casting rumors while promoting his newest movie, Rebuilding. One of his co-stars in the film, Kali Reis (True Detective: Night Country), joked that O'Connor should play Bond "as long as I can be your sidekick." For his part, O'Connor hinted that the rumors stemmed from a joke he'd told about his casting in the role right before a dual interview with Daniel Craig, which he says sparked the speculation among fans.

The creative team behind Emily in Paris is hard at work on the show’s upcoming fifth season, and it seems they have some exciting plans in place for one beloved member of the cast who was criminally underutilized in the show’s fourth season!
Deadline has reported Lucien Laviscount will be returning for Emily in Paris season 5 and not just in a guest role. Per the report, Laviscount is returning as a series regular which seems to hint we hopefully will be seeing more of British transplant Alfie in the next season.
While Alfie was a part of season 4, Lasiscount’s role in the show’s more recent season was seriously reduced which was due in part to his status shifting to recurring for season 4. The fourth season of Emily in Paris saw Emily and Alfie officially calling it quits after the fallout of the season 3 finale.

Exclusive: That looming new love triangle for Emily may become a rectangle. Fan favorite Alfie will have a larger presence in the upcoming fifth season as the actor who portrays him, Lucien Laviscount, has made a deal to rejoin the cast as a series regular, Deadline has learned.
Alfie, a sarcastic and charmingly cynical British transplant to Paris, was introduced in Season 2 of the hit Netflix romantic comedy series as a recurring character. Brit Laviscount was upped to a series regular in Season 3 as Emily (Lily Collins) found herself torn between him and her longtime crush, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). Largely for scheduling reasons, Laviscount again became recurring in Season 4, appearing in four episodes, including the season premiere and finale.
Season 4 kicked off with Emily trying to make amends with Alfie after the bombshell at Camille and Gabriel’s ill-fated wedding. He was finally ready to forgive Emily and take her back at the masquerade ball,...

Supernatural has some of the best world-building in the urban fantasy genre, with fans enjoying its rich lore for over fifteen seasons. While a part of the show’s appeal comes from the bond between the main characters, it also successfully expanded beyond the original premise to introduce other characters and plot points that could support a spin-off series.
Supernatural‘s legacy could live on through a spin-off series (Credit: Warner Bros).
During its run, Supernatural made several attempts to launch a spin-off with varying results until Jensen Ackles launched The Winchesters. However, with the spin-off canceled after just one season, it might be time for his co-star Jared Padalecki to try his hand at a spin-off and the actor needs to revive this canceled spin-off that never really took off.

Recently, Paul Mescal found great success with his role as the lead in the hit sequel Gladiator II. Along with garnering high acclaim and predictions of making a splash at next year's awards season, the film was a major blockbuster, already earning over $320 million since its release. Per the James Bond casting betting odds revealed by Ladbrokes, Mescal is at 2/1 to succeed Daniel Craig as the next 007, following only Taylor-Johnson at 1/1.

The hunt for the new face of James Bond has been ongoing for years, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been possibly the most consistent, and preferred actor for the role. A lot of times, it has seemed like the answer is finally within reach in the fandom. However, the tight-lippedness of the producer Barbara Broccoli-headed casting team has completely prevented any update about the process from being released.

As a result, the confusion as well as the thrill of finding the best fit for James Bond has continued in the fan base. Keeping that very trend alive, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, in a recent interview, responded to the question of his potential appearance as the MI6 spy in a very cryptic way. This seems to have confirmed the fear that the wait for Daniel Craig’s successor will stretch on for a long time.

James Bond 26 odds for who will next play 007 have been updated, putting a new contender front and center. After Daniel Craig bid farewell to Bond with No Time To Die in 2021, there have been no official updates regarding who will be next to play 007, the iconic British spy created by Ian Fleming. James Bond 26 is confirmed to be on the way and Aaron Taylor-Johnson has long been considered a front-runner for the role, but the casting process for the film continues to be a mystery.

Joey King and Emily in Paris actor Lucien Laviscount are playing a couple in a funny new commercial for e.l.f. Cosmetics!
In the new ad, Joey shows a creative way to use the No. 1-selling beauty product, Power Grip Primer. She painted her face to represent her favorite football team, wearing the makeup to meet the parents.
“No matter what you are a fan of – fandoms bring people together!” Joey said in a statement. “This campaign, like fandom, is encouraging everyone to express themselves and their individuality. But it’s also reminding us of the things that help us stick together – like a really great primer from e.l.f. or love for the home team!”
“Being a part of this campaign has been such a treat,” Lucien added. “While I might not have ever expected to appear in a makeup commercial, I think my first being with e.

The Emily in Paris star has spent the past four years playing suave British CFO Alfie in the hit Netflix series, a character that’s seen him matchup against seemingly every eligible bachelor in this fictional Paris — and continually win. But playing love interests isn’t as easy as simply having a nice face. It takes a combination of charm and the dedicated force of an actor who knows how to thread the needle between enticing fantasy, and...

After eight days of shows in the City of Light, Paris Fashion Week has come to a close.
Lithuanian designer Juozas Statkevičius brought the wow factor with his collection of well-tailored and magnifying pieces, as both Statkevičius and designer Tony Ward took inspiration from cinema history this season. Wild Rose & Sparrow held a ballet-core-themed show at the Théâtre du Gymnase Marie Bell; with risqué silhouettes, the brand’s co-founder Ariana Dancu wanted to create a collection inspired by female confidence and self-expression.
Christian Siriano’s leather looks are to-die-for after coming off the New York Fashion Week runway, Chloé bohemian inspired collection is oh-so-dreamy, and Casablanca’s luxury street style collection inspired by countercultural Los Angeles is original. And let’s not lose sight of Kilian Paris’ newest fragrance launch of “Old Fashioned,” with Emily in Paris’ Lucien Laviscount as its face — the smoothest cocktail-esque perfume you’ll ever smell.

Romance author Emily Henry now has five of her most recent novels set to be adapted for the big and small screens. She has published a book a year since then, with People We Meet on Vacation coming out in 2021, Book Lovers arriving in 2022, Happy Place released in 2023 and Funny Story hitting shelves this year.
Three of Henry’s books received adaptation optioning deals for films, with two of them attaching directors. Starting in 2022, multiple studios made the decision to adapt various Emily Henry books into movies. Tom Blyth and Emily Bader star in the Netflix and 3000 Pictures movie, which follows routine-loving Alex and free-spirited Poppy. The pair “have been unlikely best friends for a decade, living in different cities but spending every summer vacation together,” the official logline explains. “The careful balance of their friendship is put to the test when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else — could they actually be the perfect romantic match?”
In addition to Blyth and Bader, the ensemble cast also boasts Sarah Catherine Hook, Jameela Jamil, Lucien Laviscount and Lukas Gage. Further character details have yet to be announced.
