Michael Bishop(VI)

I have over two decades experience in film. As a graduate of Vancouver Film School I began honing my initial skills in the music video space working alongside the production company Triton Films Inc. I then branched out to start making a name for myself in Film and Television where I was drawn to the position of First Assistant Director. I have fulfilled multiple production roles over my career, giving me a rare and intricate understanding of how to run a well-functioning set. Over the past twenty-five years I have amassed well over 100 credits, ranging from small, independent productions to some of the largest budget blockbusters. I am a member of the Director's Guild of Canada and was honored to receive an award from them, alongside my directorial team, for our work on the TV series "Continuum". Using the knowledge and experience I've garnered I've also participated in mentor-ship programs, helping to educate and inspire the next generation. I have played an integral role in projects including "Tron: Legacy", "Dawn of the Planet Apes", "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" and "Night at the Museum".
