Vitaliy Abdulov is a Russian actor. At school, he played basketball for the city's youth team. After graduating from school, Vitaliy entered the Irkutsk Energy Construction College. Then he served in the army. After serving in the army, he changed many professions: he worked as a builder-installer, a cafe administrator, and a bodyguard. At the age of 25, Vitaliy decided to go to the Irkutsk Theater School with teacher Valentina Dulova. Olga Firsova, a teacher from GITIS, attended the graduation performances in 2000. After looking at his work, she recommended Vitaliy to continue his acting career in Moscow. He tried to get a third year student at GITIS. He entered the Moscow Art Theater School, which he graduated from in 2004, course of Yevgeni Kamenkovich.
Vitaliy began his film career in 2001, while a student at the Moscow Art Theater School. At first he played episodic roles (usually bodyguards and police officers). The role in the series Soldaty (2004) brought him his first widespread popularity among the public.
