Jacintha de Nobrega is a producer, known for London Recruits (2023), Deep End (2018) and Durban Beach Rescue 2 (2018). Born and raised in Kensington, Cape Town, she studied Feature Film Development at the Los Angeles Film School in L.A before returning to South Africa in 2010. In 2016, she founded an independent production company, Arclight Productions with offices in Durban and Cape Town where she has a keen focus on emerging talent. Jacintha is very active in the South African film industry and has served on the boards of the Durban FilmMart Institute and SWIFT (Sisters Working in Film and Television) an organization advocating for women's equality in the television and film industry.
