Award-winning director, actress and screenwriter. With a special focus on productions directed by self-identified women, Constanza has more than fifteen years of film experience in projects made in Chile, Spain, Perú, Cuba, México, Poland, and the United States.
Her first time working on a film was as an actress in "The Motorcycle Diaries" directed by Walter Salles. This lead her to desire to work in every film she could finding a path as an assistant director. She had the opportunity to learn from stars such as Keanu Reeves, Alfredo Castro, Eli Roth, Pablo Larraín, among others.
She's developing her first feature film "Desierto Rosa" ("Pink Desert") which has been recognized by several awards and events. This project is in its financing stage, with an already secured percentage awarded by the Chilean Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage with their Audiovisual Funds (2024).
Constanza's latest short film "My Independence Day" awards include: Best Shortfilm "Competencia Conexión Bogoshorts" (2024, Colombia), Jury Prize in: Breakthroughs Film festival (2024, Canadá), Ismalia International Film Festival (2024, Egypt), NBR Student Grant (2023, US), among others.
