- She loves all types of music. Some of her favorite artists include Eva Cassidy, Nina Simone, Beyonce, The Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, The Dixie Chicks, Heart, Guns and Roses, John Legend, Robin Thicke, K'naan, Ludacris, Lady Gaga and the Spice Girls.
- On January 12, 2010, Alessandra sang to a full stadium at the Air Canada Centre for the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Carolina Hurricanes game.
- Alessandra takes great pride in all her charity events including the Easter Seals Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation, Future Possibilities, the Wings of Hope Foundation, and most recently Voices 2009 benefiting MusiCounts.
- She has been singing and acting professionally in Toronto for over ten years.
- Alessandra was one of the Top 20 contestants on CBC's 'Over the Rainbow,' the nationwide search for Dorothy in the Mirvish-Webber produced 'Wizard of Oz'.
- Before finding her love of the arts, she experimented in figure skating, acrobatics, baseball, lacrosse, skiing and martial arts.
- Alessandra graduated from Mayfield Secondary School for the Arts where she majored in Vocal Music and Vocal Jazz. The same school in Caledon, ON Skye Sweetnam dropped out of.
