Trading Spouses icon and 'God Warrior' Marguerite Perrin recalls she was offered a part in Ben Affleck's directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone. She recently revealed why she turned down the part.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Perrin said that at the height of her fame, she auditioned for Affleck's neo-noir crime thriller flick, Gone Baby Gone. Her intended role was for the small, supporting character named Roberta Trett, later played by Trudi Goodman. "I thought I was going to pass out," Perrin said about seeing Affleck at the audition. "It was Ben Affleck standing there. I said, ‘Oh my God, I’m starstruck! I didn’t think I was going to see you.'"
