Ben Hisoler (also known as "Benjie") is a Filipino-American actor from Lake Forest Park, Washington, now based in Los Angeles. With a dynamic career spanning both on-screen and behind-the-scenes roles, Ben has left his mark on the entertainment industry. His work includes a national commercial for Degree deodorant and a role in Disney's 2021 animated feature Raya and the Last Dragon.
A graduate of Pepperdine University with a degree in Broadcasting and Communications, Ben got his start as a production assistant on the iconic TV series Friends and various MTV productions. He later coached and directed top voice-over talent at CESD Talent Agency and facilitated auditions for Megan Foley Casting (now Foley Marra).
As a performer, Ben first took the stage at iOWest in Hollywood, followed by directing and acting in multiple theater productions with the hereandnow Theater Company, a multicultural ensemble dedicated to amplifying Asian-American voices.
His training includes work with Young Actors Space, Howard Fine Acting Studio, Margie Haber Studio, and industry veterans like Diane Hill Hardin, Melora Hardin, Jim Nieb, and Tania Nolan. Additionally, he served as a Power Group facilitator at The Actors Network, supporting fellow actors in their careers.
Ben's on-camera credits include national commercials for Degree, Honda, FedEx, AT&T, Coors Light, and K-Mart, with one of his projects directed by Spike Lee.
