No, that’s not a typo, for their latest mockbuster, The Twisters the folks at The Asylum simply added “The” to the title of the film they’re cashing in on. That’s a pretty ballsy move even for them, and since I haven’t heard of any lawsuits being filed, they seem to have gotten away with it, much like they did simply tacking an “s” onto the end of The Exorcist and releasing The Exorcists a few months ago.

Organizers of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles are launching the official emblem, with backing from 26 high-profile athletes and entertainers.

LA28 unveiled the logo Tuesday — with the L, 2 and 8 serving as the foundation and individual stories expressed through an ever-changing “A.” Participants in the launch, bringing their personal stories and dreams to life through their individual interpretations include Billie Eilish, Lilly Singh, Reese Witherspoon, and Olympians Alex Morgan, Allyson Felix, Chloe Kim, Gabby Douglas, Michael Johnson, and Simone Manuel.

“There has never been a more important time to give rise to athlete voices,” said LA28 Chairperson Casey Wasserman. “Sports are a special part of our global culture, connecting people and fans across communities and around the world. The LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a platform for individual stories of triumph, heartbreak and opportunity as we recognize and revere humanity’s diversity and dreams for the future.

When the winter Olympic games kick off in PyeongChang, South Korea, next year, one familiar face will be missing from NBC’s daily coverage.

Bob Costas, who’s hosted 11 Olympic games since taking on the role in 1992, is stepping down from the position, he told Today. Mike Tirico will take over for Costas.

L.A.’s 2024 Olympics bid is getting a boost from the man behind the Mouse. Disney CEO Bob Iger has joined the committee that is trying to bring the Summer Games back to Los Angeles. Clueless star Stacey Dash is nursing three cracked ribs when a circus stunt on a new reality U.S. TV show went wrong.

The actress fell while trying to climb a length of fabric, in a stunt for the forthcoming Celebrity Circus.

Dash isn't the only injured participant; former Brady Bunch star Christopher Knight fractured his forearm on a giant disc dubbed the German Wheel; and Olympic swimmer Janet Evans fell from a trapeze.
