Chloe Ayling’s harrowing real-life kidnapping serves as the inspiration for BBC Three’s new limited series Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story. Spanning six tightly-paced episodes, the show delves into both the horrors of Chloe’s abduction ordeal and the ongoing struggles she faced long after in the publicity storm that engulfed her.
Aspirations model: at just 20 years old, Chloe traveled to Milan for what she believed was a photoshoot. Instead, masked men attacked her, injecting her with drugs before spiriting her away to a remote farmhouse and six days as an unwilling captive.
Though she survived the kidnapping physically unharmed, hard times were yet to come as talking heads and tabloid articles rushed to cast doubts on Chloe’s troubling tale. Kidnapped takes an unflinching look at both how truth can become twisted in a sensationalist media circus and the resilience of one young woman determined to have her say.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, newly freed abductee Chloe Ayling claims she wouldn’t be subjected to such scrutiny from the press “if I was a 30-year-old woman and not a model.” Netflix documentary American Nightmare (where a 29-year-old woman was abducted and then accused of making it all up) indicates that’s not necessarily the case, but she has a point. Her job, her age and her class all played a part in her mistreatment.
In 2017, when she was just 20 years old, model Chloe Ayling was booked for a photoshoot in Milan. When she arrived though, she was kidnapped and drugged with ketamine by two masked men. She was handcuffed, bundled into a duffel bag in the boot of a car and driven to a remote farm house outside of the city and told by her captor that she was being held by a gang called Black Death...

Wedding bells are still not ringing for Zendaya and Tom Holland - at least not yet. On Sept. 21, Zendaya shared a selfie showing off her hat in a car window, but what fans took most notice of was the massive pearl ring on her hand, sparking another round of speculation that she and Holland are engaged.

Zendaya got wind of the speculation immediately and followed up her post with a now-deleted Instagram Story video to shut the latest rumors down. "I can't post anything you guys! I posted it for my hat!" she said, before pointing out that the ring wasn't even on the engagement finger (the fourth finger on the left hand). "Not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that's how I would drop the news?"

Netflix has swung the axe on yet another show after just one season.
The streaming service has a habit of cancelling shows before they have time to develop their fanbase.
Sadly, this is now the case for fantasy series Half Bad: The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself.
Despite it being released on 28 October, the service has decided to call time on the series, which was an adaptation of Sally Green’s novel.
Creator Joe Barton, whose credits include the acclaimed Giri/Haji and The Lazarus Project, confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: “Sadly, yes, Netflix have cancelled this. Very proud of it and really liked the people I got to make it with. Sorry not to be able to finish the story...”

The title’s a bit of a mouthful but it’s very much worth getting your teeth into this Netflix show, based on Sally Green’s Half Bad trilogy of books. This is nominally a YA series, but it really leans into the ‘A’ of that – it’s a coming of age story, just but one that involves sex and drugs and a massive body count with the gore dialled up to the max.
It’s also about witches, but not the nice kind. The Bastard Son follows Nathan (Jay Lycurgo), a 16-year-old whose father, Marcus Edge (David Gyasi), is the most hated and feared ‘Blood witch’ in the whole of the Fairborne witch community. Nathan’s mother was Fairborne, and when Nathan turns 17 he will discover what his power is (Fairborne have just one each) but also whether or not he is a blood witch. All very high fantasy on paper,...

Jay Lycurgo, who plays Nathan in upcoming Netflix series “The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself,” finds himself interrogated by witch Celia (Karen Connell) in a new clip from the show, shared exclusively with Variety.
In the series, which is based on the Half Bad YA series by Sally Green, Lycurgo plays the teenage, illegitimate son of Marcus, considered the world’s most dangerous witch.
At the beginning of the series, with the witch community fearing Nathan takes after his father, he is constantly monitored. In the tense scene above a witch called Celia interrogates him, asking him how he is sleeping at night, whether he has violent dreams, if he is quick to anger and whether he feels any negative feelings towards other witches – at which point she notices a bleeding cut on Nathan’s hand appear to heal up.

The Daily Mail first reported the maybe-relationship back in May, with an insider reportedly claiming the two had been together for three months by that point. "It was early days for Tom and Nadia when the lockdown was announced in London," an insider told the publication. "Tom has told friends and family they're in an official relationship and living together so soon into their romance has only made them stronger." While we stand by for more info about this duo, here's everything you should know about Spider-Man's new girlfriend.

Marvel fans, it seems like our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man might have officially found his Mary Jane. A quick peek at Tom Holland's Instagram grid shows a gorgeous photo of Doctor Who's Nadia Parkes - posted on July 27 - in front of a moody blue skyline while the pair were taking a walk through central Berlin. Tom didn't caption the post or tag Nadia, but it's clear from photos shared on her own Instagram account (in which she's wearing the same outfit) that the two spent the day touring the city together.
If you've been following Tom and Nadia on Instagram, it'll come as no surprise that the two have been liking each other's posts for months, adding fuel to rumors that they've been dating since the start of shelter-in-place orders.
Tom and his previous girlfriend, Olivia Bolton, reportedly split

For a long time now, stalkers and journalists alike have speculated that actor Tom Holland was dating actress Nadia Parkes. And after the Spider-Man star uploaded a picture of her on his Instagram page, the internet has proudly proclaimed that Holland and Parkes have officially entered into a relationship.
You see, around the same time that Holland uploaded his photo, Parkes herself uploaded one on her Instagram page, too. Interestingly, this one didn’t include Holland but featured herself, standing on a bridge. But since she’s wearing the same shirt and jacket tied around her chest in both pics, it appears the two were spending the day together.
You can see all the evidence for yourself down below:

Tom Holland and Nadia Parkes are fueling romance rumors. The Spider-Man actor had fans buzzing on Monday after he posted a picture of the Domina actress on Instagram. While the Marvel star didn't write anything in the caption or tag Parkes in his post, some fans wondered if this was the duo's way of becoming Instagram official. Parkes had also shared a photo of herself in what appeared to be the same outfit earlier that day, and some followers assumed Holland had snapped the pic. The image earned a like from Sophie Turner, who is friends with Parkes. The post should come as no surprise to fans of Holland and Parkes. After all, the two have been liking each other's posts and sparking...

The internet works in mysterious ways, and here’s just one of them. Recently, Tom Holland started trending on Twitter after fans of the actor began claiming that he’s the father of singer-songwriter Nicki Minaj’s unborn baby. The rumor is, unsurprisingly, little more than a hoax that grew out of a 2019 meme.
According to Capital FM, the notion that Holland is the father of Minaj’s child comes from a meme which spread around the internet last year, falsely stating that the actor is caught up in a love triangle between himself, Minaj and a YouTuber by the name of James Charles. Holland, who’s currently 24-years-old, certainly does not seem a likely match for the 37-year-old Minaj. Even so, stranger matches have been made in the history of Hollywood.
Minaj announced that she was pregnant with her first child through an Instagram post and the father of said child is Kenneth Petty,...

To celebrate the release of the first season of Starz’s hit new show The Spanish Princess, which is airing now, we sat down with some of its cast to find out about the show and why it will be your next big binge.
The show returns viewers to the world of Tudor royal court intrigue, continuing the story from the Starz miniseries “The White Queen” and the Starz limited series “The White Princess.” It’s told uniquely from the perspective of the women, but it also sheds light on the lives of people of color who were living and working in 16th-century London. Teenage Catherine of Aragon (Charlotte Hope), the strong-willed Princess of Spain, is promised in marriage to the English Prince Arthur. When he dies suddenly, the throne seems lost until she sets her sights on the new heir, the charismatic and headstrong Prince Harry.

With sumptuous costumes and a cast including a couple of familiar and beloved costume-drama players, Starz’s “The Spanish Princess,” about the travails of Catherine of Aragon, seems designed to appeal to lovers of broadly drawn historical romance. And yet it’s hard to imagine anyone outside the core constituency for royals and the games they play finding much of interest in “The Spanish Princess”: Baroque in its attention to detail, but telling its version of history strictly for the fandom.

‘The Spanish Princess’ Trailer: Starz Royal Drama Spotlights the Formidable First Wife of Henry VIII
The reign of Henry VIII is one of the most storied periods in both history and literature. “The Spanish Princess,” the latest royal drama from Starz, is the newest series to look at that era not just from the throne, but of the high-ranking women whose lives were intertwined with the fate of empires.
Charlotte Hope stars as Catherine of Aragon, looking for a way to overcome the loss of her husband, the teenage Arthur Tudor. The trailer below reimagines the first interactions between Catherine, princess of Spain, and her eventual second husband Henry (Ruairi O’Connor). A prelude to one of the most consequential sagas of the 1500s, “The Spanish Princess” views Catherine as not just a pawn of history, but a young woman who set a plan in motion to rule her own destiny.
