King Charles and Queen Camilla have welcomed an adorable addition to their family—a new rescue dog whom they named Moley.

Moley Was Adopted From Battersea Dogs And Cats Home

It is believed that Moley was adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, which is a UK rescue where she adopted her pups, Beth and Bluebell.

Camilla was devastated when her beloved Jack Russell Terrier passed away last November. Camilla is an avid supporter of animal charities, particularly Battersea.

A spokesperson for Battersea said, “We’re pleased to confirm that Battersea has recently rehomed an eight-week-old Jack Russell Terrier cross female puppy, called Moley, to our patron, Her Majesty, the Queen.”

Queen Camilla shared the happy news while petting a guide dog. Camilla met a golden retriever named Fergie, who was named after the Duchess of York when meeting a partially sighted group in the Beany House of Art & Knowledge.

Jon Bernthal made his appearance as The Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Daredevil Season 2. He later got his own spin-off series, and will return in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again.

Luckily, that won't be the last fans will see of Bernthal's Frank Castle/ the Punisher. Following his appearance in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, Bernthal will return in his own Marvel special. In 2021, Marvel gave us WandaVision, the first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since then it's been off to the races, with shows like Loki, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and more following. Personally, I feel the decision to expand the MCU to television was a genius idea. In fact, I’d argue that in some ways the shows have been better than the movies because they are able to go more in depth.

With that in mind, we thought we’d look back at all of Marvel Disney+ shows we’ve gotten so far and rank them from worst to best. Bear in mind that being “the worst” doesn’t mean the show was a disaster, because Marvel rarely puts out anything bad. It simply means that it did not match the level of hype and excitement as the other series.

Werewolf by Night is an American television special directed by Michael Giacchino and written by Heather Quinn and Peter Cameron for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. It is the first Marvel Studios Special Presentation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and television series of the franchise.

Werewolf by Night follows a secret group of monster hunters as they compete for a powerful relic while facing a dangerous set of monsters. The special was released on October 7, 2022. Gael García Bernal stars as Jack Russell / Werewolf by Night, along with Laura Donnelly and Harriet Sansom Harris.

Former Great White singer Jack Russell has revealed that he’s been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy. As a result, he has announced that he is retiring from touring.

Shared Russell in a statement [via Pollstar]:

After a recent diagnosis of Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy in May 2024, I am unable to perform at the level I desire and at the level you deserve. Deep-cut fans of Marvel Comics have likely begun several pertinent conversations with the following question: if you could adapt any Marvel character, no matter how obscure, into a live-action feature film, which one would you choose? Werewolf by Night took fans to a previously unexplored corner of the MCU where monster hunters were assembled to track down a terrifying creature. That beast, however, ended up being Ted, a.k.a. Man-Thing.

The truth was that he wasn't bad at all, with the Bloodstone forcing the gentle monster into a near-uncontrollable rage. Jack Russell, the Special Presentation's titular werewolf, was ultimately able to help his friend and freed him. Fans quickly fell in love with both characters, with the hope being they'll return sooner rather than later (two years on and we're still waiting).

In the meantime, Hasbro has unveiled a new Man-Thing action figure (based on his appearance in Werewolf by Night) as part of its Marvel Legends line. Pre-orders begin later this week on June 13 at 1pm, while we've also learned it will be priced at $39.99.

A crossover special could pay homage to classic horror movie crossovers and provide a much-needed boost to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
