After studying photography, Pascal Adant practiced filmmaking with a 16mm camera before making his first short film in 35mm. His initial attempt turned into a major success as his short film was selected and awarded at the Critics' Week during the 52nd Festival de Cannes. Since then, he has directed around twenty short films in live action and 2D animation, and has contributed to the writing of three feature films. He is also a script doctor. He lives in Bangkok, Thailand, from where he works internationally.
