April 18 marks Superman Day, which celebrates his first appearance in Action Comics #1 in 1938. It's been 87 years since Superman was created, and, over the years, the Man of Steel has been played by a series of beloved actors, whether in live-action and television series, or voiced the character in animated series.
While DC Comics fans are impatiently waiting for James Gunn's new rendition on the character with the upcoming Superman, there is a different category of comic book fans who are still supporting Zack Snyder's vision in his Snyderverse. The filmmaker's Superman was played by Henry Cavill, who appeared in several productions, including his standalone film Man of Steel in 2013. Snyder celebrated Superman Day with a wholesome post on X, and a picture of Cavill, and fans were there to support him.
"You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you.
