Dominick Joseph Luna hails from Ventura, California, just north of Los Angeles. He is the son of an Indigenous American (Chumash - Pascua Yaqui), and Latin (Mexican - Spanish) father, and a European mother.
Since his early twenties, Dominick has been involved in the entertainment industry, starting as a musician before transitioning into film scoring and then finding his true passion as a screenwriter.
In 2020, Dominick wrote the award-winning short film Proxy. As he continues developing his love for writing film and television, he has also expanded his creative vision, setting his sights on making his directorial debut.
Outside of work, Dominick is a motorcycle enthusiast and avid supporter of Formula 1. He is also a dedicated family man and has been married to Australian actress Emma Booth since 2013.
