The Steve Jaggi Company is keeping cameras rolling in Queensland, commencing production on new romance Love in Bloom.

Shooting at a range of locations in and around Brisbane, the scripted feature is the directorial debut of Rogue Rubin and stars US actor Susie Abromeit (Jessica Jones) as Chicago florist Amelia Hart, who returns to the small Australian town of Primrose River to help plan her sister’s wedding.

When her soon-to-be-married little sister (Melina Vidler) and fiancé become marooned at a mountain retreat days before their wedding, Amelia and the best man, Grayson Tanner (Julian Haig), are tasked with stepping in to save the wedding.

Supporting cast include Monette Lee, Steven Tandy, Joey Vieira, and Jason Wilder.

The film is written by Georgia Harrison and is being produced by Steve Jaggi and Spencer McLaren, with Kylie Pascoe and Kelly Son Hing co-producing.

"Do we have any debris close to our trajectory?" Another excellent short film from Australian filmmaker Josh Tanner - who has been entertaining us with top notch shorts, like The Landing and The Rizzle, for years. His latest is called Decommissioned, and it's a space sci-fi horror based on a true story. In 2006, an old Russian spacesuit was decommissioned and turned into a satellite launched into orbit called SuitSat. This really happened. Tanner then takes that and imagines what might happen... next. And it's freaky. His short stars Joey Vieira as Commander Diaz aboard the International Space Station, who encounters the mysterious SuitSat. With David Normand as the voice of "Houston". Watching this I couldn't even figure out how the heck he made this, I'm entirely impressed. And it's a genuine thrill to watch, it looks great and feels real in every way. This fantastic sci-fi short packs a punch in only 6 minutes.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold is the live-action version of the highly successful and well-known Nickelodeon TV series Dora the Explorer and features Sicario 2 and Instant Family star Isabela Moner as the titular character. The film follows Dora as she is sent to the states to spend time with her Cousin Diego and his family.

Rosie Lourde is making her feature film directing debut on Romance on the Menu, a romantic comedy from the Steve Jaggi Company now shooting in Brisbane.

Scripted by Americans Casie Tabanou and Alison Spuck, who wrote Jaggi’s Back of the Net, the film stars Canadian Cindy Busby (Heartland) as New York restaurateur Caroline Wilson, who inherits a café in Lemon Myrtle Cove, Australia.

As she renovates the business to sell, she begins to fall in love with the place, its people and charming local chef Simon Cook (Tim Ross).

While her ex-fiancé Nathaniel (Joey Vieira) begging her to take him back and pressing work commitments back home, she is faced with a big decision: Give up her New York life and stay in Lemon Myrtle Cove or return to the big city.

The new crime 'dramedy' "Reef Break", produced by ABC Studios International for French broadcaster M6, was created by and stars actress Poppy Montgomery, shooting 13 'sexy, action-packed' episodes in Australia's 'Gold Coast', premiering June 20, 2019 on 

ABC:
