IShowSpeed often races with celebrities including the current fastest man on Earth, Noah Lyles. Being a non-athlete, he is incredibly fast and has earned appreciation from fans for his speed. You can find several simulations pitting him against other celebrities to find out who is faster. However, fans might not need a simulation to know whether he is faster than Tom Cruise.

Cruise, known for doing his own stunts, has proved himself to be very athletic. During one of the chase sequences in Mission: Impossible 3, he outran the camera unit that was capturing him in the sequence. The camera’s speed was enough to determine the actor’s speed.

The NFL has dropped a bunch of creator news this week. The league has long been cozy with YouTube, but now it’s tapped the platform as the official sponsor for its annual Super Bowl Tailgate Concert–and, on top of that, it’s working with YouTube to launch Access Pass for Legends, which will give NFL players and content creators permission to use high-quality NFL footage in their videos without fear of being demonetized.
So, what now?
Well, it’s tagged in two of the world’s biggest creators–Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed–to go head-to-head in an official NFL flag football match that’ll stream on the NFL’s YouTube channel the day before Super Bowl Lix.
In an announcement video, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell rings up IShowSpeed.

Fyi, Tubefilter has a podcast.
It’s hosted by our very own Joshua Cohen (that’s me) and Lauren Schnipper. Subscribe to Creator Upload on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen.
This week’s episode is sponsored by creator membership software Memberful.
NFL careers tend to be bright and short. The average player getting drafted out of college can expect to make around $800,000 a year in pro ball. For most of them, that shakes out to career earnings of about $2.8 million. That’s a decent chunk of change–but these guys know it won’t sustain them forever. So, when they hang up their jersey for the last time, they’re already looking for the field where they can score their next touchdown.
And increasingly, they’re finding it on YouTube.
Hollywood has sort of always been the post-career aspiration for big-time sports players, but not many of them have made it there.

After nearly a year of hype, controversy, and anticipation, the Amazon Prime Video original series Beast Games has finally premiered its first season. For Jimmy Donaldson, the 26-year-old North Carolina native who uses the MrBeast moniker across his social channels, Beast Games is an opportunity to produce his biggest-ever spectacles while introducing his brand of content to a new audience.
Some of that promise has been stunted by the negative press Beast Games has received. The show’s production process reportedly left many contestants hungry, exhausted, in pain, and short on needed medications. Though Donaldson has addressed those allegations, a group of Beast Games contestants hit him with a class action lawsuit back in September. Similar accusations have dogged other streaming productions, but some observers argued that Donaldson went too far with his high-pressure situations.
It is in that complicated environment that Donaldson began a multiplatform publicity tour to promote his Amazon Prime Video original.

Did Keith Lee find something wriggling in his sushi? When the TikTok food reviewer visited Fob Sushi in Seattle, some viewers claimed to notice something moving in his sashimi. Though the restaurant initially chalked up the incident to “elasticity” in the fish, it did temporarily close down to protect the health of its customers. Lee didn’t offer a strong opinion on the rumors, but the ripple effects of his visit are a reminder that he’s the most influential food critic around.

Sprinter Noah Lyles Says He Was Afraid He Might Infect Teammates With Covid-19 During Paris Olympics
U.S. sprinter Noah Lyles claimed a bronze medal in the 200-meter final at the Paris Olympics, despite battling a Covid-19 infection in the days leading up to the event.
Lyles, considered the favorite to win gold in the 200m, revealed that he had tested positive for Covid-19 just two days before the final on August 8. The sprinter was moved to a separate hotel and was under constant medical supervision, with a doctor checking on him “every hour” as he fought the illness.
Despite the challenges, Lyles and his team consulted with the International Olympic Committee (Ioc) and were given the green light to compete in the final, as long as he remained in quarantine beforehand. Lyles ultimately decided to participate, a decision he says was driven by his desire to overcome yet another obstacle in his illustrious career.

Angered by Team USA’s botched baton handoff Friday at the Paris Olympics in the men’s 4×100-meter relay — the 11th since 1995 resulting in disqualifications or bans — nine-time Olympic gold medal winner Carl Lewis is calling for change.
The U.S. relay team was seeking its first Olympic gold in the event in 24 years. They were disqualified after they flubbed the first exchange, handing off outside the permitted zone.
“It is time to blow up the system,” Lewis posted on X. “This continues to be completely unacceptable. It is clear that Everyone at Usaft [USA Track & Field] is more concerned with relationships than winning. No athlete should step on the track and run another relay until this program is changed from top to bottom.

The closing ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics will take place this Sunday, August 11 at Stade de France. The event will recognize top athletes from the past two weeks of competition and look back on the impact of the Games. It will also showcase Paris’ rich cultural traditions.
More than 17 days of sports will come to an end with the ceremony. Standout performers like swimmer Léon Marchand, gymnast Simone Biles, pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis and sprinter Noah Lyles will be honored for their achievements. The theme of the ceremony, called “Records,” will reflect on both celebrating records set and the fragility of the Olympic movement.
Thomas Jolly, director of both the opening and closing ceremonies, aims to highlight Paris’ diversity through performances. Drag queens are expected to take part, as they did in the controversial opening ceremony. Jolly said the ceremonies take inspiration from Dionysus, the Greek god of revelry, rather than Christian symbols.

A fun part for fans ahead of each Dancing With the Stars season is trying to figure out which celebrities might be cast.
With Season 33 approaching, fans are speculating and excited about a popular Olympic medalist potentially joining the cast.
The show has featured Olympic stars in the past, including Laurie Hernandez, Kristi Yamaguchi, Shawn Johnson, Adam Rippon, and Apolo Anton Ohno.
Each celebrity competitor also won their respective season of DWTS, showing dedication to tirelessly practicing to achieve a goal. In the case of the Olympics, it’s medals, and with DWTS, it’s the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
While the 2024 Summer Games in Paris, France, have featured gymnast Simone Biles, track star Noah Lyles, and NBA superstar LeBron James, it doesn’t seem any of them will compete on the dance television show.
Instead, fans spotted a clue potentially revealing that a recognizable rugby star will join the DWTS Season 33 cast.

Many Dragon Ball fans believe that the purpose of Akira Toriyama’s series was to deliver some great characters who could fight till the end of the world. However, the real message that the mangaka wanted to share with Dragon Ball was that no matter what kind of situation arises before you, you should never give up.
Goku’s Kamehameha | Toei Animation
He portrayed this message with the protagonist of his series, Son Goku. Goku has been a source of inspiration for many people. In fact, he has also inspired some of the greatest athletes taking part in the Paris Olympics 2024. Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball is arguably the most popular name in the Shonen genre, featuring Son-Goku as its protagonist. He is probably one of the most renowned and powerful anime characters ever created. Kakarot is known for being a power-hungry warrior who would put the fate of Universe 7 at risk just to battle strong foes.

We may be four years away from Los Angeles hosting the 2028 Olympics, but if Hollywood is famous for anything, it’s a glitzy, starry early tease. Filming from a Universal Studios soundstage in Studio City, California, legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg delivers a welcome to the 2024 Paris Olympics that ties the perfect link between cinema and these historic games. The short, entitled ‘Land of Stories,’ begins with Spielberg walking onto a set with a big blue-screen behind him that eventually transports him to a street corner above the Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background, all courtesy of his friend George Lucas’s Industrial Light & Magic.
As Spielberg narrates, with clips of his films and past Olympic games interspersed, he explains the personal importance “telling stories” has for him. In the short, he said, “From the very origins of the idea, The Olympics have always been what you might call,...

The opening ceremony of the Paris Games is barely over, and already its starting to look a lot like the #Beylympics, at least to Team USA.
Having given Vice President Kamala Harris permission to use her ‘Freedom’ tune for her newly launched Potus campaign, Beyoncé is now flying the flag for Simon Biles, LeBrone James, Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Caeleb Dressel, Katie Ledecky and all other American athletes competing in France over the next 16 days.
In a video that dropped during NBC and Peacock’s primetime replay of Friday’s Opening Ceremony, the hatted and booted Cowboy Carter superstar gave her ‘YA YA’ hit a revamp for the hometown team. “Get a look at America, y’all,” Beyoncé declared as Biles, Men’s Gymnasts Fredrick Richard and Asher Hong, and others appeared on screen. “These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us.”

Team USA knows they have Beyoncé’s support throughout the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
During the Olympics Opening Ceremony in Paris on Friday, the global superstar introduced the athletes that make up the United States team in a promotional video. Team USA then made their way down the River Seine.
Beyoncé was seen in the footage sporting a red, white and blue bodysuit, accompanied by a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. The singer also named several of the athletes competing for Team USA, including Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Caeleb Dressel and Katie Ledecky, as “YA YA” from her latest album Cowboy Carter played in the background.
She then continued with a motivational message: “Get a look at America, y’all. These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us. The people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation. All rooting together for them.”
“Come on, you’ve gotta love Noah and Sha’Carri.

Standing in the rain, on a barge on the Seine, waiting to be part of the Opening Ceremony for the Paris Olympics, American sprinter Noah Lyles was already talking about his desire to rewatch the entire launch, presumably from a warm and dry place.
“I just love seeing moments made,” explained Lyles, an absurdly charismatic figure on the verge of global ubiquity.
Lyles will get a kick out of the Paris opening when he gets around to his rewatch, especially if he’s watching on a service with a fast-forward button.
Your typical Olympics Opening Ceremony represents a desperate and wildly expensive struggle to deliver one or two moments that people will be talking about for the following two weeks, if not for years to come. Masterminded by artistic director Thomas Jolly, the Opening Ceremony from Paris provided possibly dozens of wild, visually stunning and even emotional moments. I’d...

Olympic Torch Burns Bright
On your marks, get set…: We’re nearly there. Tonight, a dazzling Olympics opening ceremony featuring dozens of boats along the Seine will take place in the French capital, and yes, Celine Dion will perform, as will Lady Gaga. Trouble in paradise however, as Insider goes to press the French rail network has been paralyzed by arson attacks, with a whopping 800,000 people expected to be impacted. Almost immediately after the end of the last games, which were delayed to 2021 due to Covid-19, the International Olympic Committee set the wheels in motion for Paris 2024, and the next three weeks will see some of the globe’s ultimate superstars compete in France, paired with...

The 2024 Paris Summer Olympics have finally arrived, with the promise of a newly cleaned Seine river and high-tech cardboard beds for all the athletes. There’s a lot to look forward to during the games themselves, which run from July 26 through Aug. 11 in both Paris and other French cities. But with 329 events taking place across 32 sports, including the newly added break dancing competition, it can be hard to know when to tune in.
A lot of big names are returning to the Olympics this year, from Simone Biles to Katie Ledecky to Noah Lyles,...

Beginning on July 24, the Paris Olympics will measure athletic greatness in finite windows of time.
Noah Lyles will run 100 meters in comfortably under 10 seconds. It will take a bit longer — more than 15 minutes — for Katie Ledecky to swim 1,500 meters. French baller Victor Wembanyama will attempt to burnish his growing legend in 40-minute increments.
The NBCU family will, once again, trot out the usual assortment of retired jocks, veteran journalists and Snoop Dogg to offer the reminder that a sport isn’t just the game itself, but all of the storytelling that comes with it. Sports is entertainment, and in 2024, entertainment means television. This won’t surprise any small-screen obsessive; lately, “television” and “sports” have become frequently interchangeable terms.
The primary explanation for that is simple: In a world of delayed viewing, live events are the Holy Grail for everybody. It’s the reason that last year’s list of “most...
