Nithish Sahadev is an Indian film director who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He gained recognition for his directorial debut, Falimy (2023), a heartwarming comedy-drama that explored the journey of a dysfunctional middle-class family traveling to Varanasi. The film featured Basil Joseph, Jagadish, and Manju Pillai in pivotal roles.
Sahadev began his career as an assistant director, making his debut with Mudhugauv (2016), the directorial debut of Vipin Das, known for films such as Antakshari and Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey. He further honed his craft by assisting Jude Anthany Joseph on Oru Muthassi Gadha (2016). In 2019, he directed the short film Magneto, starring Anand Menen, and later served as the creative director for Antakshari (2020), a thriller starring Saiju Kurup and Priyanka Nair. In 2021, Sahadev ventured into digital content by producing the short web series Kalyana Kacheri.
Following the success of Falimy, Sahadev announced his next ambitious project, which will feature the legendary Malayalam actor Mammootty in the lead.
