The crime drama genre is never-ending, with new shows taking over television screens every now and then. In this, the CBS Network will definitely reign supreme, given that it has some of the most beloved crime dramas out there. From the gripping storytelling of CSI to NCIS, which is one of the longest-running shows out there, the network is a boon for a crime genre fan. While some shows have managed to continue for a very long time, others have had to put a stop in between.

Now the 2007 love letter to exploitation cinema has received a new collection of apparel form Gutter Garbs.

Sam Coyne created appropriately retro-style designs for both Robert Rodriguez‘s Planet Terror and Quentin Tarantino‘s Death Proof.

Grab your belts and hop on the roof of that car because we’re discussing our very first Quentin Tarantino film in 2007’s pseudo-slasher/exploitation film Death Proof.

9-1-1 is known for its high-octane civilian rescues, but the first-responder drama isn’t afraid to put its own characters in danger. Since its pilot season in 2018, the procedural following fire (Lafd), police (LAPD), and dispatch (Ladc) has put nearly all of its main cast into peril. Due to the very nature of the series, it's no surprise that so many of them have had more than their fair share of close calls over the years.

While a lucky few have gone relatively unscathed thus far, most characters have had at least one near-death experience, with some even having to endure multiple dire situations. Still, there’s no telling when or how disaster will strike; no character is totally safe. The potentially fatal situations in 9-1-1 are so iconic that 9-1-1’s second spinoff needs to think about the threats its characters will face as much as the characters themselves.

The fall finale of 9-1-1 season 8 feels like an episode that could have aired during the show's Fox era. If there is one observation about the show's move to ABC, it's that there has been more focus on the lives of the main characters over the outlandish emergencies that earned the franchise its reputation. The emergencies in the fall finale, titled "Wannabes", aren't too wild. But there are quite a few of them, which doesn't leave room for any major developments. At least until a surprising scene in the closing minutes.

Since 9-1-1 began in 2018, one of the things it has been great at is taking its characters on important journeys. 9-1-1 star Oliver Stark teases a significant scene between his character Buck and Ryan Guzman's Eddie when the ABC show returns from a hiatus. The main thrust of 9-1-1 season 8's Halloween episode, titled "Masks", centers on Hen (Aisha Hinds) and Karen (Tracie Thoms) and their family unit. Hen opts to be on shift for the spooky holiday, which causes a disagreement between her and Karen. But the decision to work ends up saving the life of their son Denny (Declan Pratt) after an unbelievable accident. But in the B-plot, Buck has a fair lighter accident of his own.

In an interview with TV Insider, Stark teed up what's ahead for Buck in the upcoming episodes. Even though 9-1-1 season 8 will go on a small hiatus, it will be back on ABC on November 7 at 8 Pm Et with a new episode titled "Confessions.

Oh, readers, TV Fanatic has got some news for you. Madeline Matlock will finally have her day in the sun and in court. Who says you can’t bring criminals to justice and have an AARP membership at the same time?

Although it may not be all rainbows and smiles, as you’ll see in the promo, Madeline is not thrilled about the opportunity. Then again, she did want Olympia’s trust.

In Three Women, Season 1 Episode 6, all three leading ladies—Lina, Sloane, and Maggie—strived to find happiness and freedom.

This installment featured some raw and sexy lovemaking scenes and romantic drama, which is a huge plus.

However, returning to showcasing all three stories simultaneously did not work since it switched to another arc as soon as I began to invest in one.

The general theme of this episode was about love, sex, and orgasms, ranging from an innocent girl’s first time to learning how to feel cherished again.

Can A Marriage Survive a Partner Like Will?

I love Sloane and Will’s chemistry, but it’s difficult to like her sometimes when Richard is such a devoted husband. She wants to have her cake and eat it, too.

Richard adored her, so he changed his mind after seeing how Will transformed their backyard into a winter wonderland for a sledding party.

We have a lot to look forward to on the next episode of High Potential. Fun, exotic animals are coming our way, and what will surely be another big brother speech from Karadec.

Considering the next episode will have plenty of fun animals, we’ll get the full breadth and width of Morgan’s zoology knowledge. Teach us something new, Miss Morgan.

Viewers all around agree that High Potential boasts as much heart as it does brain. So, while we’re sure to learn something new, there’s a good chance crying will be involved.

Hen and Karen Wilson have seen their fair share of struggles throughout eight-plus seasons of 9-1-1.

They were in for the fight of their lives during 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 4, when the couples fought to bring their daughter, Mara, home to them after corrupt Councilwoman Ortiz did everything she could to keep them apart.

As usual, the couple stood strong, and they stood together as they always do, and in the end, Mara finally came home to them.

Family has always been the main thread of the series, from the flesh-and-blood variety to found family and everything in between.

This was an hour not only about family but also about home. Bringing family home, wanting family home, and finding the perfect home for a family.

The bee-nado/plane crash extravaganza was an excellent start to this season, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t ready to get back into the character journeys.

The characters will always be the heartbeat of the series, and while the hours heavy on the action are necessary and welcome on a show like 9-1-1, it’s also nice to have more character-driven hours.

The festival’s theme will be Champions, a celebration of “the resilience and determination of filmmakers who overcome countless obstacles to bring their visions to life.”

This year’s lineup includes more than 250 short films, feature films, and new media series with additional projects screening virtually. Titles include The Ebony Canal, a 46-minute feature on Black infant mortality rates narrated by Viola Davis. Also screening is The Origin, a project produced by Morris Chestnut, and Tea, a short project from filmmaker Blake Winston Rice featuring Michael Gandolfini.

Lucky for the cast and crew, 9-1-1 was developed when Fox and then-20th Century Fox were part of the same company.
