The 37-year-old actor and wife Meredith Hagner, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child, stepped out for the premiere of his new thriller Night Swim on Wednesday night (January 3) held at Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles.

From the start, horror tropes abound: jump scares punctuated by loud noises on the soundtrack; voices emanating from a drain; creepy mud-soaked girls crawling out of the water; promises of ancient curses; computer searches that lead to missing persons; apparitions that disappear the moment they appear; and teary, rain-soaked goodbyes.
