Aaron Dalton grew up in Dayton, Ohio, spending school years with his Black business-woman mother while spending summers in Appalachia with his cattle rancher father. His love of irony began here.
In 2017, Aaron received his Bachelor of Science from NYU's Stern School of Business, before hanging up his suit and receiving an MFA from UCLA's School of Theater Film and Television. There, he explored his passion for queer-led features and television that commingle art, sex, and commerce.
Aaron is a proud alumnus of the prestigious Telluride FilmLab and the Cannes Film Festival Storytelling Institute where he developed the black comedy script, Geoffrey.
