R.I.P.D., the supernatural action film starring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds, will soon have a new streaming home. The movie will be available on Peacock beginning Jan. 1, 2025.

R.I.P.D.: Rest in Peace Department was based on the 1999 comic book by Peter M. Lenkov and saw Bridges and Reynolds starring alongside Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stéphanie Szostak, and Marisa Miller. The film focuses on two police force agents (Bridges and Reynolds) as they work to find and apprehend monstrous spirits called "Deados" who are disguised as ordinary people in an effort to avoid their final judgment in the afterlife. The two agents uncover a sinister plan to disrupt the balance of the universe and end all life and work together to put an end to it.

James Brolin, Lizzy Greene (“A Million Little Things”), and Eoin Macken (“La Brea”) are set to join Netflix’s upcoming romantic drama “Ransom Canyon,” Variety has confirmed.

They join previously announced leads Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly. Kelly will portray Quinn, a character who “has often found herself in the shadow of others, but after a stint in New York pursuing her career as a concert pianist, she has returned to Ransom Canyon to carve out a new path for herself.”

Duhamel is set to play Staten Kirkland, the “steadfast and stoic” owner of the Double K Ranch. Staten “leads the charge to resist outside forces threatening his way of life and the land that he loves,” reads the description.

Series creator DJ Nash took to X this week to respond to a fan who asked if the show is over.

"It's over. For now," he responded.

In a word? Whoa.

It's not uncommon for TV series to stage comebacks after their series finales.

In this TV climate, shows return for additional seasons years after they wrap up.

Frasier recently returned, 19 years after its series finale, for example.

There's a lot of story to mine from a comeback of A Million Little Things, which gave This Is Us a run for its money as one of the most emotional shows on TV.

Wednesday’s finale of “A Million Little Things,” titled “One Big Thing,” gives an emotional send-off to the glue that kept the friend group together: Gary (James Roday Rodriguez).

Two episodes prior to the finale, Gary learned that his cancer returned and was terminal. In an effort to be there for his and his now-wife, Maggie’s son, Javier, in case he didn’t make it, he began filming a series of videos. As the final episode begins, Gary (who is visibly at the end of his life) is prepared to say goodbye to the people he loves the most.

In an Instagram post earlier this week, Scorsone shared the details of the incident, which took place “a couple of months ago” and left the actress with “about two minutes to get my three kids out of the house.” Scorsone and her children escaped safely, but the family sadly lost all four of their pets in the blaze, a tragedy that Scorsone said “we are still sitting with.”

“A Million Little Things” has been filled with emotion since its 2018 debut — and the final season is set to follow suit.

Per the show’s official description, Season 5 kicks off with a funeral, which sees the group coming together “celebrate the life of a loved one who dies unexpectedly.” However, it won’t be the only death of the season, creator DJ Nash confirms to Variety. “Someone else passes away,” he says, careful not to give away anymore.

The show, which is rooted in Nash’s own relationships and personal experiences, stars David Giuntoli, Romany Malco, Allison Miller, Christina Moses, Grace Park, James Roday Rodriguez, Tristan Byon, Lizzy Greene and Chance Hurstfield. ABC announced the series’ end in November — a decision Nash had known for a long time.

Ron Livingston will be back for the fifth and final season of ABC’s “A Million Little Things,” creator and executive producer DJ Nash said during Wednesday’s Television Critics Association press tour.

“You will see cast you haven’t seen in a while,” Nash said, “including Stephanie Szostak and Ron Livingston.”

The last time Livingston appeared on the show as Jon Dixon, the character’s whose death by suicide was the pivotal twist in the pilot and sets off the series about the character’s close guy friends and how they deal with Jonathan’s death, was on its second season.

Szostak played Jon’s wife, Delilah. She was a regular on the series before she was downgraded to a recurring role on Season 4. She appeared in one episode that season.

A Million Little Things is bidding farewell to its audience with a parallel to the first season, as the group begins to rally around a friend who is fighting for his life after a cancer diagnosis.

During ABC‘s Television Critics Association panel on Wednesday, showrunner Terrence Coli and executive producer DJ Nash discussed how they were planning to bring the series to a close.

“It feels like a bookend,” said Coli, in reference to how the show began with Jon Dixon (played by Ron Livingston) dying by suicide in the pilot and its impact on his close friends. “The friend group is going to rally around Gary [whose cancer returned in Season 4 but only Maggie knew about it until Rome accidentally stumbled upon his secret in the season finale]. They have been there for reach other and have shown up, through all the trials and tribulations.”
