King Bailey Parsons Jr. at an event for Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF) (1990)

Trivia

King Bailey Parsons Jr.

Edit
  • He was a big star in the 80s and early 90s southern wrestling circuit.
  • He had his biggest success in Dallas with Fritz Von Erich's World Class Championship Wrestling.
  • King and his wife Lynda became the proud parents of their first child, son Harry James Parsons, at 10:20pm on October 11, 2008.
  • Used Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" as his entrance music in World Class.
  • In the WWA promotion in Texas he created his own imitation of WCW's New World Order called the Ice World Order, or IWO, which included a young Rodney Begnaud, later known as WWE's Rodney Mack.
  • He was good friends with Chris Adams.
  • Joined the Fabulous Freebirds (Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts) after Michael Hayes had temporarily left the team. He was known as the "Blackbird," and Parsons subsequently formed his own Blackbirds team with Al "Action" Jackson, and later with Brickhouse Brown.
  • Carried a stick that he called the "Rooty-Poot Stick," which was where The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) got one of his favorite insults. It is a way to call someone a weakling or a lamer or a pansy.
