- Alexandros Theodoropoulos is an actor of film, television and stage. He is known for playing Andreas in "My Father's Murder in Greece" (2024), Stefanos Ouzinidis in "I diki mas oikogeneia" (2022-2023) and Ermis in "To dyxti" (2024).
Alexandros Theodoropoulos was born in Athens and grew up in the town of Lamia, in Central Greece. His parents are entrepreneurs, owning a private school of foreign languages. After finishing school, Alexandros moved to Athens to study for a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature in the University of Athens. Upon completion in 2018, he enlisted as a marine in the Hellenic Special Forces for the compulsory Greek military service. In 2019, he moved to Newcastle, United Kingdom, to obtain a Master's in Media and Journalism from Newcastle University. After graduation, he started working as a freelance journalist, writer and translator both for UK and Greek publications.
In 2021, at the age of 25, he decided to get involved in acting and was shortlisted in the Athenian Stage of Kalvos-Kalambokis Drama School, in Athens. Along with his studies in acting he made his professional theater and TV debut. His first TV appearance came in hit Greek TV series "Agries Melisses" (2021) where he played a witness of a murder. Soon, he appeared as Stamatis the thief in another popular TV series, "Sasmos" (2021). His first principal cast role was Stefanos Ouzinidis in the comedy TV show "I diki mas oikogeneia" (2022-2023), directed by Vassilis Thomopoulos, where he played in 129 episodes.
Alexandros Theodoropoulos's film debut came in 2024, where he played the mysterious character of Andreas, in the US thriller/mystery film, "My Father's Murder in Greece" directed by Colin Theys for Lifetime TV, Apple TV and Prime Video.
In 2024, he worked with acclaimed Greek director Manousos Manousakis in his swansong TV Series "To dihty", starring as Ermis, an ambitious, yet bizarre, sculptor. He has appeared in two short films and many commercials. In theater, he has performed in both drama and comedy plays including "Débrayage" (2024) and "An Imbecile and a Half" (2023).
