Steven Crane is an American Actor & Improvisor. During 2013 he took his first improv class with Alchemy Comedy Theater which then evolved into 8 plus years performing with their theater in Greenville, SC. It was there he found his love of performing and creating characters. In 2021 he began working various background roles in film/television shows in the southeast and wanted to delve deeper into the industry. His first acting role was the short film Half (2023). His next role came soon after in a feature with New Zealand Sons titled Moving Valentine (2022). He signed with Jon Menick's Screen Artists Talent agency in 2022. His most recently released feature film, The Shelter (2024) began streaming in 2024. Apart from television and film roles, he also has worked on local, regional, and national commercials. His next project in pre-production is a feature titled All That is Evil (2025).
He was born in Seneca, South Carolina and raised in the small neighboring town of Walhalla, SC. He attended Walhalla High School, then graduated from Clemson University in 2007. He married his long time girlfriend, Dana, in 2008 and they reside in Simpsonville, SC with their two daughters.
