Gleb Kuchuk is based in Prague and has been acting professionally since he was 16. Gleb is recognized for portraying a wide range of characters such as a challenged and troubled criminal with a heart of gold in the TV show "DUCH", an innocent looking but psychotic maniac in the TV series "OKTOPUS", a naive, sweet and passionate lover with a pure heart in "Much Ado About Nothing", or a manipulative son who uses the love of his family to fulfil his egoistic intentions in the feature film "VICTIM".
As an actor with an eastern European background, Gleb finds himself portraying roles typical to that region of the world: criminals, scammers, soldiers. His mission in such roles is to break the common perception by bringing authenticity and depth to these stereotypical roles.
Gleb was the lead in Michal Blasko's feature film "Victim," which screened in competition at the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.. It won the Best Film in Slovakia and was the Slovak submission for the Academy Awards in 2022.
It is now streaming on Czech Netflix.
His recent notable credits include a charismatic crypto scammer in a video game "Off The Grid" directed by Neil Blomkamp, a charming, deceiving serial killer in a TV series "Oktopus" airing on Czech National TV in 2025 and a dying, scared but hopeful soldier in "Interview with the Vampire" directed by Craig Zisk, where Gleb had a scene with Jacob Anderson. Gleb also had the honor to work closely with well-established European actors and directors like the "Harry Potter" star Predrag Bjelac, German director of a Jason Stattham film "Mechanic: Resurrection" - Dennis Gansel, and others.
Gleb is native in English and Russian and is confident in Spanish and Czech. He studied high - level IB theater in school and received a golden medal after passing the exam at the LAMDA drama school in London, has done workshops with David Penn and Kimberley Graham and has had gun and martial arts training.
