Universal animation Dog Man and Paramount thriller September 5 head up new releases in UK and Ireland cinemas this weekend.
Leading the way is DreamWorks Animation’s Dog Man which is out in 617 venues after opening in the US last weekend. The story centres around a police officer, half dog and half man, who is up against a feline supervillain. Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid star in the dark comedy about a weekend away that goes wrong when a human android, built for companionship, reveals itself. It marks the feature debut of Drew Hancock while further cast include Rupert Friend, Lukas Gage and Jaboukie Young-White.

Netflix has pulled the plug on Snowflake Mountain. Per Deadline, it's been revealed that the reality show has been canceled after one season with no second season in the works. While other reality shows have managed to find an audience on the streaming platform, Snowflake Mountain hadn't managed to pull in the same accolades after its premiere on Netflix in 2022.
Snowflake Mountain featured an international cast and was filmed in North West England. The series comes from Fremantle's Naked and was executive produced by Cal Turner and Jo Harcourt-Smith. It was produced by Andy Cullen, Nick Walker, and Cherry Sandhu.
