He continued: “Girls Trip is happening. Girls Trip 2. Bringing back all the ladies. And we’re going to add maybe some new ladies.”

After premiering on Prime Video back in January, Harlem season 3 has finally reached its conclusion. The last two episodes of the third installment are now streaming on Prime Video, and fans are eager to see how the six-episode season wraps up.
However, some fans were eagerly counting down the minutes for the final episodes to drop, staying up late and repeatedly refreshing Prime Video. The moment they were released, they wasted no time watching both episodes back-to-back. Now that they've finished, the big question on their minds is whether Harlem will return for a fourth season with a new batch of episodes.
Sadly, there’s disappointing news for fans. Harlem season 4 will not be happening as the beloved comedy series was announced last month to be ending with its third season. On Jan. 8, the official trailer for Harlem season 3 was released. At this time, it was also confirmed that this...

The BBC Studios Natural History Unit has produced some of the best and most breathtaking nature documentary series of the last 25 years, including the Emmy Award-winning Planet Earth franchise. Now it’s turning its focus to Earth’s largest continent, exploring everything from the bitter tundra of Siberia to the murky depths of the numerous oceans and seas that surround the landmass. The rich ecosystems of the latter are featured in the series premiere, “Beneath the Waves” (airing Saturday at 8/7c on BBC America and streaming on AMC+), which takes viewers on a marine adventure as it highlights unique wildlife like the firefly squid, which glows in the dark and lives for just 12 months, and the once vulnerable northern fur seal, which is now thriving on an old hunting settlement.

Harlem is coming to an end, but its cast and storylines have expanded in its third and final season.
New to Tracy Oliver’s Prime Video series are actors Gail Bean (P-Valley), Logan Browning (Dear White People) and Kofi Siriboe (Queen Sugar), the budding love interests of three of the show’s main characters Tye (Jerrie Johnson), Ian (Tyler Lepley), and Quinn (Grace Byers), respectively.

Get ready because Harlem season 3 is almost here! It's a bittersweet moment because we're excited for a new season. But that also means we're moving one step closer to the very last episode of the comedy-drama because this is the final season. Can you believe it?
Harlem season 3 premieres Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025 on Prime Video. It's not known yet how many episodes there are this time around. And it's hard to predict because season 2 was 8 episodes while the first installment was 10.
Hopefully it's on the longer side so we have a longer time to say goodbye. The exact release schedule hasn't been shared by the streamer yet either. Though TVLine has confirmed that it's not a binge drop and episodes will be streaming weekly. It may follow the two episodes a week format that season 2 did.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers for “Meet Me Next Christmas,” now streaming on Netflix.
Christina Millian and Devale Ellis knew their passionate kiss in Netflix’s “Meet Me Next Christmas” had to be perfect.
“One of the producers was just like, ‘Listen, man, no pressure at all. Movies are made right here at this moment, so don’t mess this up. But there’s no pressure. But let’s elevate the film by making a great kiss. Okay, go out there, kids,'” Ellis tells Variety of the pressure to nail that pivotal moment.
So how did they overcome the nerves and deliver? “We got threatened,” Ellis jokes. Acknowledging that the logistics of the shot required for an intense make-out, Ellis adds, “[Director Rusty Cundieff] let us know, like, ‘It’s gonna be long, because we gotta go around you guys three times as the world melts around you.’ And then Christina had,...

In Netflix's Meet Me Next Christmas, Layla (Christina Milian) meets the man of her dreams, but he isn't quite who she expected. The movie begins with a predictable meet-cute. Layla's flight to New York has been canceled on Christmas Eve, but she's trying to make the best of it. She goes to the airport lounge to wait out the storm and hopefully get on one of the stand-by flights she's been placed on. While she's there, she meets a man named James (Kofi Siriboe).
They bond over It's a Wonderful Life and their shared dream of going to Paris at Christmas. So when James' flight finally boards, he proposes that next Christmas Eve, they meet at the Pentatonix concert if they're both single. Layla, who enjoyed their time together but has a boyfriend, gives him a very tentative "maybe" and the movie unfolds from there. But who does Layla...

If you’re like most people, you’ve probably spent a lot of time watching escapist entertainment. But “escapist” doesn’t mean “pointless.” Every work of art has something to say, whether it means to or not. If anything, the art we make to calm our anxieties speaks volumes about what makes us anxious in the first place, if only by omission. Even the shallowest superhero movies imagine a world where justice is achievable within a couple short hours, and not just one possible outcome of a miserable bureaucratic obstacle course that’s designed to hurt more people than it protects.
And then there are romantic comedies like “Meet Me Next Christmas,” the latest in a long line of cheerful, often interchangeable holiday rom-coms, which imagine a world where we have the time, money and job security to focus entirely on finding true love in late December, instead of panicking...

Meet Me Next Christmas is a corny Christmas movie that follows the typical tropes, but the musical elements and central characters make it a fun watch nonetheless. Getting into the Christmas season, Netflix is gearing up a slate of brand-new Christmas rom-coms ready for the holidays. Meet Me Next Christmas has some minor twists on the standard entries that make it stand out. However, it's not an instant classic, and will likely be a movie audiences only watch once.

Meet Me Next Christmas is the latest in the ever-expanding collection of Netflix Christmas movies. Over the last several years, the streamer has gotten deep into the Christmas movie game. They still have some work to do to catch up to Hallmark, at least in terms of quantity (Hallmark is premiering 32 new Christmas-themed movies this year!). But the Netflix Christmas movies have a very similar vibe. They’re cheesy, corny, fluffy, cute, predictable. They’re comfort food movies, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Enter Meet Me Next Christmas.

“Meet Me Next Christmas” is a Netflix romantic comedy starring Christina Milian, Devale Ellis, and Kofi Siriboe.
Although there’s still a month and a half left, television networks have begun this season with a Christmas classic: romantic comedies. This genre has evolved into an almost perfect formula where, movie after movie, few changes occur: settle into your comfort zone and anticipate… the unexpected? Not exactly. In predictability, this genre finds its best ally, and viewers find their greatest delight.
Christina Milian shines as the leading lady in this festive film.
Plot
Layla is a modern woman with a balanced life… until she catches her boyfriend with someone else and meets two charming guys on the same night. She plans a date with one of them for a concert, but she doesn’t have a ticket, while the other has to get it for her.

“The longest [running] Black family drama on television leaves a legacy of knowing that these stories are worthy, knowing that there’s an audience for them,” declares producer/director DeMane Davis about the legacy that “Queen Sugar” will leave on the TV landscape. For our recent webchat she adds, “It’s not a show that has a lot of bells and whistles. It doesn’t need it because it has these faces. It has this skin. It has this hair and then it has these directors of photography,” she says, “who know how to light that skin, know how to get light into the eyes, so that you see the depths of someone and you see the layers. There’s nothing like this on television.” Watch our exclusive video interview above.

It was a satisfaction that was so deep,...
