In 2016, while living abroad in Japan, sold the thriller Split Second to Millennium Entertainment, won Scriptopalooza Grand Prize with Battle about the first African American police officer in Brooklyn (which was later set up with David Permut and Trevor Noah), and had first produced credit with Running For Grace.

Continues to live and work in Japan.
